This historic Dutch Colonial has been meticulously updated with modern comforts for enjoying your next Walla Walla adventure! Bordering the beautiful Whitman Campus, this attractive property is just a short walk to all downtown wineries, restaurants, and shops. Perfect for 3-4 couples, groups of friends, or family! The outdoor heated pool is open April 1st thru the first weekend in November annually. The space You'll start to unwind as soon as you walk through the back gate into a private backyard that was recently showcased in the Walla Walla Pond & Garden Tour. The large HEATED in-ground pool, contemporary furniture, wine barrel water feature, and fire dish create the ultimate environment for relaxing outdoors. The home's main floor has a comfortable floor plan with access from back or front. The backdoor entry area leads into the large modern farmhouse kitchen with kitchen nook and 1/2 bathroom. Just off the kitchen are the formal dining room and spacious living room with fireplace. The living room's Bluetooth speaker and Smart TV (with cable channels) can connect to your devices and accounts. Wi-Fi is accessible throughout the house. The queen sized memory foam (bar-less) sleeper sofa is located on the main floor in the living room, where blackout curtains can be drawn for sleeping comfort. The second story has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms: Bedrooms 1 and 2 share the large hall bathroom, while Bedroom 3 has an en suite bathroom. Washer, dryer, iron, and ironing board are located in the basement, with convenient stair access off the kitchen. Outside, enjoy the private backyard with a beautiful pool for those hot summer days, and as the nights cool down, turn a switch to make an instant fire in our outdoor fire dish. Have a backyard BBQ and dine al fresco on the 11-foot custom redwood table while watching the flames from our signature fire dish. We enjoy traveling ourselves and have designed each detail of this home and property for your comfort and enjoyment! Many of the custom features have delighted guests; for example, the turquoise “retro” refrigerator or the outside water feature of tumbling wine barrels, or the ½ Bathroom tucked under the stairway adorned with London Rooftops - aptly referred to as the “Harry-Potter Bathroom.”
