If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with a unique twist, you’ve just found it! It’s an “inn” with “intrigue”! We created this 3-level house to engage your mind and senses. Every floor has its own theme and multiple brainteasers incorporated in the decor. We have maps that will guide you through the puzzles and there’s a fun reward at the end. Located in the heart of Laramie’s “Tree Area”, it's also close to the University of Wyoming and downtown. Book now to make some great memories. This house was totally remodeled in 2020. It is 2000 sq ft with 3 separate bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms. The main floor has living room, dining room, kitchen and a half bath. Upstairs has a bedroom with vaulted ceilings, king-sized bed, huge walk-in closet, bathroom with claw foot tub, large shower, and separate toilet room. Downstairs has 2 bedrooms with a queen bed in each, full bathroom with a tub/shower combo, and a laundry room. We kept many of the features of the old house but modernized everything. It's full of original artwork and early 1900's inspiration. Please note that we welcome children that are 12 years and older. Ungated stairs and fragile items make the house unsuitable for younger children. However, babies that are not crawling yet are welcome too. In the warm summer months we have a window a/c unit that cools the upper floor and also one for the main level. The lower floor stays cool in summer. For the colder months, each floor has its own thermostat to set to your comfort level. The house has a long driveway that can fit up to 3 cars. There are also 2 spaces in front of the house on the street. This neighborhood is great to walk around in and explore. There are lots of historic homes nearby. 5 1/2 blocks to the east is a large park and 5 blocks to the north is the University of Wyoming. We live a few blocks away so you'll have complete privacy but we're available if you need us. The "Tree Area" is such a great part of town. We love to walk around under the tree canopy and enjoy looking at all the unique historical homes. Washington Park (5 1/2 blocks to the east) has a volleyball court, basketball court, playground, wading pool, a place to play horseshoes, picnic/grilling shelters and large grassy areas for football, baseball, soccer, etc. The University of Wyoming is only 5 blocks north and has beautifully landscaped grounds, interesting buildings and sculptures and a museum. Laramie has public transportation. It's easy to walk or ride a bike to the University of Wyoming campus, nearby parks or downtown. If you go east along Grand Ave to other restaurants or movie theaters, it's better to drive a car. Parking is always free and easy to find. For UW game days, parking on campus is harder. If you don't have a special pass or permit, it's best to park near Washington Park ( 5 1/2 blocks east from here).
