Just minutes from Portland's Old Port, the house commands sweeping water views of Casco Bay and the Presumpscot River. Guests will enjoy the large private patio, hot tub and yard. This lovely home offers wonderful amenities, plenty of room, and is a perfect location for large families or groups of friends traveling together. Guests will enjoy ample living space with two bedrooms and one bathroom on each floor. The open concept main floor features a living room with a fireplace and a comfortable seating area. There is also an enormous dining table (easily seating 12-14) and a fully-outfitted eat-in kitchen on the main floor. There are several comfortable common areas—two with a televisions. A laundry room, with two clothes washers and two dryers, is available for guests' use. The kitchen is fully stocked with plenty of dishes, utensils, glassware, coffee makers, microwaves, and an abundance of pots, pans, and bakeware. The bedrooms are all beautifully decorated and include comfortable beds and linens (two bedrooms with a king-size bed; one bedroom with a queen-size bed; one bedroom with two twin-size beds; one bedroom with a full-size bed; and one bedroom with a twin-size bed and full-size bed). There are also two sleeper sofas—one queen-size, and one full-size. Extra blankets and pillows are available as well. The large back patio has plenty of seating including large, upholstered sectional sofa, cozy chairs surrounding a fire pit, and a high-top table with four chairs. Guests will enjoy soaking in the hot tub and can also use the adjacent screened porch. There is a grill for guests' use. Two driveways provide parking for five to six cars, and there is also ample free, street parking. Please note that occupancy is limited to no more than 14 people. Gatherings and events (beyond registered guests) are strictly prohibited. Due to close proximity of other houses in the neighborhood we ask that guests be respectful of our neighbors and keep noise to a minimum in the early morning and after 10:00 p.m. The patio and hot tub are not to be used after 10:00 p.m. Please note that for guests' security, video cameras are located on the property's exterior. Guests will have access to the entire house, including the cozy main floor fireplace, huge dining table, lots of common space to spread out, six bedrooms, and the private patio and hot tub. There are beach towels and chairs and robes available for guests to use. I am happy to answer any questions via phone, text, or email. I live nearby and will come to the house to assist with any issues. Overlooking Casco Bay and the Presumpscot River, the house is minutes from Portland’s Old Port. The immediate neighborhood offers many amenities including The Other Side Deli and Beals Ice Cream. Walkers, runners, and bikers will enjoy the 3.5 mile waterfront Back Cove Trail, just down the street. Easy hikes within walking distance of the house include charming Mackworth Island, with its mile-long perimeter pathway, and the wooded trails at the Maine Audubon center. The house is just 10-minutes from the Portland Jetport. There is plenty of on-site parking, enough to accommodate five to six cars, and easy street parking as well.
