A renovated barn from the 1920's, part of the “Old Dowd” homestead is a unique and artful craft-man’s home. It offers a peaceful retreat in a country setting. A spacious veranda faces large mesquite-grove. The space The Barn has a well-lit and spacious bedroom with a queen sized luxury-firm mattress bed to assure your good rest. A charming bath with claw-footed tub and shower to set the tone for relaxation. A well appointed living room that includes three very comfortable recliners aimed at regenerating our guests. A Smart TV, and Chrome Cast allows you to stream your favorite subscriptions. A comfortable oak wood dinning set opens to a very open kitchen, which comes with a full size refrigerator and stove, and is well equipped with all the necessities. Both a coffee maker and a Keurig are available; K-cups are provided. The refrigerator has water dispenser and an ice maker. P.S. We cannot accomodate any Uhauls , trailers, or any larger-than-normal vans. Guest access Once you have the code to open the gate, you have access to the Barn, , the parking, the veranda, and the mesquite-grove garden area. The Loft area is out of bounds for your safety. Other things to note We ask that all our guests drive slowly and mindfully when exiting to the private driveway, and, when turning onto the road. Be aware that gates shut automatically and are on a timer. Hence, one must drive off in a timely manner. P.S. We cannot accomodate any Uhauls , trailers, or any larger-than-normal vans.
