The original building was built in 1953 by the late Dewey Brooks and served as a drug store for many years before eventually being abandoned in the early 2000’s. In 2013 this structure was rehabbed and transformed into the building you see today. The Condos are located on nearly two acres composed almost entirely of river front property and gravel bar. The space The condo is 1600 square feet, featuring two large bedrooms, two full bathrooms, hardwood floors, a modern kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, large great room for entertaining, thirty foot deck overlooking the Current River, river access to large gravel bar, walking distance to The Landing and downtown Van Buren. Close to town without being IN town. High end property in renovated building. Interior features include exposed brick and concrete and high ceilings. Exterior features include covered balcony with a river view that's hard to beat. This condo is on the second floor, requiring stairs to access. There are also stairs leading to the river access. Due to the age of the building, an elevator is not present. Guest access Welcome to Current River, part of the Ozark National Scenic Waterways! Guests have access to 2 BR/2 BA Condo along with deck, lawn and Current River. And with a double parking spot in front of Condo. Closest public boat launch is right across the River. Largest outfitter on the River is right next door for rentals and transportation up and down river! Canoes, kayaks, rafts and tubes are available for rental. Or if you have your own equipment you can travel up river and float right down to the Condo. Or float down to Big Spring from the Condo! Both are easy floats and you can do both in one day. Other things to note Two parking spaces provided per Condo. One double reserved spot for both autos. This property has a strict NO PETS policy due to owner allergies and HOA rules and regulations. A deep cleaning fee will be charged at departure if animals are brought into the property. If floating on Current River and in need of any gear, The Landing is right next door and will shuttle you up River, if in need of transportation. We are also less than two miles from Missouri Down Under petting zoo. And Eminence is a short drive away for more Springs, Falls, Mills and more river access. The Irish Wilderness and Eleven Point River is also a great day adventure and a short drive away. My favorite Spring is Greer or Blue (still can't decide). So much to see and do!! And the Condo is only 4 miles from Big Spring, probably the most well known in the area.
