Sleepy Canoe is a great getaway half way between Ashland and Grants Pass on the Rogue River just 15 minutes from the Medford Airport. Between Crater Lake and the Pacific Ocean. Enjoy fishing, cycling, wine tasting and rafting the best rapids on the Rogue River. Sleeps and feeds 14 people and has a private fishing area at the bottom of the trail below the house. Hot tub, bicycles, game room, 2 big screen tvs with high speed WiFi throughout the house and plenty of space to work or play. We're happy to have you bring along your pet for an additional $30/ pet. No cats allowed. STRICT NO SMOKING POLICY: Smoking in the property will result in an additional $500 cleaning charge. Please note there is a 300lb weight limit on the top bunk of the queen bunk beds in the guest rooms. Full house access We have information at the house for local restaurants, bars, activities, river shuttles, grocery stores, and places to visit during your stay. There is a sister property next door that has an open backyard area with no fencing to the river. Both houses share the river path. We live down the street and can be available if needed. We're on the Rogue River with great river access and 1 block to a huge beach park. Walking/biking trails connect to the sports park for tennis, skate, disk golf, and whitewater spectating. Lucky's bar has two pool tables and the best juke box in town. The Sports Bar has great take out, pizza at Figaro's, and three mini marts within a few blocks for supplies. Right across the river is I5. And a 9 hole golf course five minutes away. 15 minutes to the Medford International Airport, 1/4 mile off Interstate 5 where Highway 99 and Highway 234 intersect. 15 minutes away from the Medford airport and within 10 minutes of Del Rio Vineyards, Rogue Rafting Company, and Gold Hill Sports park. Our place is the perfect location for shopping, golfing, rafting, fishing, jet boats and wine tours. Nearby scenic trails allow for enjoyable hiking and biking while taking in the views of the Rogue River. For those ready to conquer the river on their boat, the Gold Hill Sports park is about a 5 minute drive away and has a boat launch, as well as a beach area, picnic tables, and other fun activities. We may ask for a $200 security deposit upon booking.
