The space Classic Salt Cod style home with one of the first open-concept renovations in Toronto. Once inside the front door, the main level is open through the kitchen and living room with a beautiful view of the back yard. Relaxed with a contemporary feel. Eat-in kitchen seats 6, dining room seats 12. The kitchen has just had a full renovation in 2020 and is stocked with all you would need. We leave sugar, salt, flour, tea and spices for your convenience. The private backyard features an in-ground salt water pool. No chlorine effects on eyes for the little ones. The pool is automatically regulated and we keep the water temperature at 80°F. We have an automatic vacuum that plugs in and can vacuum the bottom overnight. For longer stays we will book a pool attendant to check in on things. The house has three main bedrooms, and the cabana in the backyard has bunk beds for four adventurous ones who want to feel like they’re ‘sleeping in the woods!’ The backyard is private and serene, surrounded by a 6-foot security fence and a canopy of 100 year-old oak trees that helps cut some of the summer heat. We keep the space stocked with pool toys, beach towels, 3 (adult) bikes, a scooter, and toddler toys if requested. The house also features a washer, dryer, and a baby grand piano. The piano is for playing, don't worry -my husband the conductor says it’s for playing.☺ Located in the quiet and scenic Birchcliff neighbourhood, which is part of the Scarborough Bluffs along the edge of Lake Ontario. We are a block from the edge of Lake Ontario, walking distance to some lovely trails, parks, and Rosetta McClean Gardens - a mature sculpture gardens.
