We even have the Christmas tree all set up for you! We want to ensure the long-term viability of our business and the best way to do that is to preserve the relationships with our neighbors. We love hosting guests who will take good care of our property and prohibit parties that result in destructive and drunken behavior. If your intention is to party at our house, we are NOT a good fit for you. Guests will be required to complete and return a signed rental agreement detailing our policies within 48 hrs after a confirmed booking with us. PETS We love pets, but they MUST be disclosed before booking and are subject to approval. There is additional documentation required for service animals, so please let us know if you are planning on bringing one. Please review our pet policy and confirm agreement. Guests must adhere to the following pet rules before approval for the pet is provided: 1. Only dogs are allowed and no more than 2 are allowed per stay unless prior arrangements are made. 2. A pet fee of $250 for the first dog and $50 for all subsequent dogs will be required. This fee is for the privilege of having a pet at the property. It does not cover damages or stains caused by the pet. 3. Dogs must be house trained and well behaved and on a leash when outdoors. 4. Dogs are not allowed on any furniture (i.e. sofas, beds, etc) 5. Dogs are not allowed in any carpeted area. 6. Dogs must not be left unattended in house unless crated. 7. Guest must pick up and appropriately dispose of dog excrement from the property and community areas. HOUSE LAYOUT: (check out our 3D walkthrough video on our FB page; search mars hill vacation rentals). There are 3 levels and 3 of the 7 bedrooms have a King Bed! The main level is the welcome center and consists of the living room, kitchen, dining area, deck with gas BBQ grill, a screened in patio, 3 bedrooms, a full bath and the laundry room. Our unique Social Media mural is located on the landing as you go upstairs. Don't forget to tag us @poconosberkshire on social media! The upper level is all about resting and consists of 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The lower level is all about play. There are 2 large game areas: one for adults and one for kids. The adult game area consists of a full size pool table, full size shuffleboard table, card table, foosball table, several smart TVs, and a sitting area to catch up on life. The kids play area consists of a 2 player basketball shooting game, a 2 player arcade game with hundreds of games loaded, 2 playscapes: 1 for toddlers and 1 for elementary age kids. The hot tub and home theater are also located on this level. There are smart TVs in every bedroom and the living, game rooms so you can log into your own account and stream your favorite shows. Streaming services are not provided. THE OUTDOOR SPACE Electric vehicle 220 volt charging outlet, located by the garage. Charging port is not provided, just the 220V outlet. The house is situated on a cul-de-sac with plenty of space for kids to run around safely and play. There is a fire pit for S'mores and quiet conversations. Propane grill is located on deck adjacent the kitchen/dining and is propane ready. The driveway is large enough to accommodate up to 6 cars. There are outdoor security cameras located above the front entrance, to the side of the house and in the back for your safety. Please be mindful of the neighbors and observe the outdoor quiet hours: 10pm - 8am. NEARBY ATTRACTIONS: Home is minutes away from Split Rock golf course and 10 miles to hiking, swimming, fishing at Hickory Run State Park, skiing at Big Boulder or racing at Pocono Raceway. Golf, Casino, Waterparks, White water rafting and more are all within a 30 minute drive. IMPORTANT NOTE: All photos are meant to provide guest with a general layout of the house. Split Rock pay as you go activities are at your doorstep, including the H2O indoor water park, the Split rock movie theater, arcade, bowling alley, both split rock and jack frost golf courses, yeti motorsports rentals and miniature golf. The home is only 10 miles to hiking, swimming, fishing at Hickory Run State Park, skiing at Big Boulder or racing at Pocono Raceway. Golf, Casino, Waterparks, White water rafting and more are all within a 30 minute drive. There is a nice grocery store about 10 minutes away and a full size grocery store about 20 minutes away. House is located in a residential neighborhood. There are permanent residents living next door, so please be mindful of your noise level, be respectful of their property and keep your activities family friendly. The driveway can accommodate up to 6 cars comfortably. Guests are required to complete and return a signed rental agreement within 48 hrs of confirmed booking. If you are not able to comply with this requirement, please do not book with us.
