The Cabin at Shady Grove

Set among five acres of mature and private woods, this newly renovated vintage log home has 2 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and sleeps five guests. The property is completely secluded and private, yet only a five minute drive to town and the beach. Relax and unplug. Reconnect with your family, friends, and nature. Welcome to the cabin at Shady Grove. The space NOW OPEN FOR SUMMER 2023 RENTALS: SATURDAY-SATURDAY MINIMUM MID JUNE-MID AUGUST The master bedroom has one queen bed and a newly renovated marble and limestone bathroom with extra large shower. The second bedroom (upstairs) has three twin beds. There is also an attached, newly renovated full bathroom. Downstairs you will find a living room with wood burning fireplace (firewood provided) and flat screen tv with dvd collection, a fully equipped kitchen, two screened porches, a powder room, and a front porch for relaxing. The kitchen is equipped with pots, pans, spices, olive oil, tea, coffee, a coffee maker, and all of your basic necessities to cook. Outdoors, guests will have access to a gas grill, ropes course, children's bikes, basketball hoop, an array of yard games, fire pit (wood provided) and five acres of woods to explore. Other things to note Please note that the person booking the home must be at least 24 years of age. A government issued identification will be reviewed after the booking. Cancellations will be made by Airbnb for guests that are not of booking age. There is no cable tv. Please note that internet service around the entire peninsula is inconsistent. Our property is extremely wooded and service tends to be spotty or inaccessible. You will find that your personal hot spot works better(we do have a cell booster). If house provided wifi is essential during your stay this vintage cabin in the woods will not suit your needs. Please let host know ahead of time if you would like to use a high chair or pack n play so that housekeeper can leave out. The price includes local Door County State taxes and Wisconsin State taxes.
