The space The carriage house was added to property by the former owner who was a senior executive at a major corporation for use by his guests. On the first floor of the carriage house, there is a bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, and a full bathroom. On the second floor there is a large great room with bar area, 2 seating areas, an entertainment area with pool table and card table, a full bathroom, and a bedroom. There is a queen-sized sofa bed and a futon in the living room area on the 2nd floor. Each floor features its own deck. The carriage house is situated next to the main house on 3 1/2 acres. Because it is bordered by woods and the creek, it feels private. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire living area of the carriage house. You will also have use of the private dock and can enjoy the hammock and gas grill in the front yard. There is a TV with DVD player, DVDs to choose from, cards for the card table, games, and a chess set. We provide towels, sheets, soap, and toilet paper. Guests provide their own beach towels. The kitchen is fully equipped. Other things to note If you plan to swim we recommend that you bring water shoes as when you are walking in shallow water there are oyster shells that may cut your feet.
