You'll really enjoy this quiet little place on the water of Lake Granbury. It's intimate, fully equipped and has spectacular views through floor-to-ceiling windows. Sunsets are truly remarkable! Recline outside to relax, cook delicious meals in the full gas kitchen, converse/read n the small bedroom/stting room . . . all while watching the blue heron, ducks, geese (please don't feed them!) and a multitude of turtles. There is a separate outdoor sectional sofa area; an eating area with gas grill and Coffee Bar created from a vintage piano; a separate area with lounge chairs and a live-edge bar for snacking; a fireplace area with adirondack chairs; a garden (with yummy Sweet 100 tomatoes in season); and even a cornhole game! The Rock is flexible enough to be a special retreat for 2, a girls' getaway or fisherman's cottage for 3, or even a time with that special older child, favorite aunt or friend who will appreciate having their own room with a modern futon (sofa by day/bed by night). The hosts are near enough to be responsive, but give you complete privacy. Guest access You have the whole guest cottage and yard to yourself! Other things to note There is a large "smart" TV in the great room with both some local channels as well as multiple common streaming services.
