Beautiful Bowser, B.C Our luxurious one-bedroom suite is beautifully detailed with high-end finishes (i.e. full kitchen with stainless appliances, a large kitchen island with bar stools, a wrap around bench seat in the kitchen nook and a tea/hot chocolate/coffee centre for that perfect cup of java in the morning). The crisp white ship lap walls provide a coastal vibe that goes way beyond the usual seashells and sailboats. A seaside escape you are shore to luv, just steps to the beach! The space Cushioned, hardwood flooring in grey oak, lots of large, bright windows, a sexy spa bathroom and an in-suite laundry room complete with full size washer and dryer are included for your convenience. But that’s not all - we have saved the best for last, the Bedroom…you will have amazing nights on our queen-size Heavenly Bed complete with the finest sheets, luxurious pillows (4 different kinds), and a super warm duvet for those cozy nights. Bedside lights on dimmers create a soft glow in the evening for reading in bed or planning your next day’s activities. A seaside escape you are shore to luv, just steps to the beach! Stepping into our suite is like being handed the perfect cocktail and the world instantly gets a whole lot better! When you arrive you will park in your own private parking space. Follow the professionally landscaped, winding path to your “home away from home”. You will be in awe when you see the tall pine trees & hear the stream that runs in spring from the natural snow melt behind our property. Make yourself at home on our cozy patio complete with Adirondack chairs, a gas firepit and a propane bbq. This patio is the perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. The intoxicating ocean smell will beckon you to come explore the ocean located just steps away. We’ve named our suite “On the Rocks Retreat” …. you will see why once you take the stone path to the most beautiful beach. Huge boulders create the stairs to the beach which while rocky when the tide is high, is sandy (with gorgeous tide pools) when the tide is way out. Starfish, crabs, clams, silver dollars and beautiful driftwood can be found on our beach. Walk for miles in any direction, take endless photos of our stunning ocean and mountain views, and say hello to our resident seal, “Approval”. Spring time is herring time and quite the event to see as our bay is then full of fishing boats & the seagulls put on quite a show. Every year we have orca sightings in the spring and fall when they are migrating and every evening we see all the cruise ships go by. If views like this aren’t enough why not experience our beach padding your own kayak? Our beach is very seldom wavy and perfect to launch the two kayaks that are included in our suite rental. We want you to experience the full beauty of our island and kayaking offers the chance to view sea otters, orca, and humpback whales in their natural environment. Witnessing it from water level while in your own kayak is awesome but being the only kayak in the ocean for miles creates such a sense of serenity and peace, you will be speechless! Planning a fall or winter getaway? Then you need to know our cozy suite also offers a pellet stove – simply turn it on and Ahhhhh! The pellets feed automatically …within minutes you won’t believe the warmth it gives off and how relaxed you will feel! Centrally located & considered mid-island, Bowser is big on scenery and full of small town charm. It’s the best location to see and experience all the sites on Vancouver Island. So hit the road ….rent a convertible, put the top down and choose a route that offers you some hiking, waterfalls, beaches, shopping, amazing restaurants or simply seeing how the locals live. Hungry & thirsty? Be sure to try a “pirate Caesar” at our local ocean-front Ship ‘n Shore Restaurant located five minutes from us. Their specialty is clams and oysters supplied fresh from our oceans by Mac’s Oysters in Fanny Bay. For a quick lunch, you have to try our Tidal Taco Shack, also just .10 minutes down the island highway. By far the most amazing fish taco you have ever had and their ocean view is pretty amazing too! In need of a bottle of wine? Our liquor store is walking distance from your suite & so is the grocery store. Need a massage or pampering at the spa? Be sure to book an appointment for some pampering at King Fisher Spa – their outdoor swimming pool is heated year round and their onsite restaurant has the most amazing patio.
