Safe Have Retreat is a unique 2-acre property that sits at the end of Wilderness Road at an altitude of 6,200 ft. It is the last private property on the road with 3 sides up against the National Forest. Max. 12 people over night We have neighbors in the area that live there full-time. Please be respectful to the neighbors, locals & nature. This is our home & we enjoy it with our families also. If we have any noise complaints we will have your group removed immediately. The space Mountain biking, skiing, snowboarding, and hiking are all near Running Springs. RS is located between Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear. This home is a few miles away from Sky Park, Snow Valley, and the Big Bear ski resort & attractions. The 5,000 sq ft cabin has an open floor plan and three different levels that provide for several families and privacy. There are tree top views from every window and door. There are 5 bedrooms and 5 1/2 bathrooms. The 6 bed area is the loft area that has 2 twin beds in shared space. The kitchen has everything you need for large groups and family meals. There is even a COFFEE BAR- French press coffee, drip coffee, and a Keurig. Appliances are a four burner stove, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer. Pots and pans, crockpot, griddle, toaster oven, four slice bagel/toaster. Waffle maker, blender, pancake griddle, tea pot, etc. Kitchen utensils, placesettings, flatware, plates and glasses. There is also spice rack, individual condiment packets are all complementary for individual use. There is a PROPANE barbecue. Propane tanks included. There are additional tables and chairs throughout the house for additional dinner seating. All the rooms have beds, night stands, table lamps and fans. The downstairs area has a kitchenette, 2 fold out queen couch, foosball, & shuffleboard. 2 bathrooms & laundry rooms are also located in this area. PROJECTOR TV & DVD movies. The parking lot can fit approximately 8 cars or more. Guest access You will have 2-acres to roam the property where the main house is central to all activities on the property. You also have an unobstructed view and access to the whole National Forest! If you are up here in the winter, there are 3 sledding/tobogganing hills right here on the property! Other things to note All the activities at the Safe Haven Retreat: Horse Shoe Pit, Outdoor Chess, Picnic area, & Toboggan/Sled run are all available for our guests to use during their stay at no additional cost. The only equipment that is supplied for activities are the balls for: Horse Shoes Chess Pieces OUTDOOR CAMERAS: To secure the premises, we installed active outdoor cameras on the upper outdoor deck, 2 cameras on the lower outdoor deck, and one doorbell camera. The neighborhood is very safe, but this helps secure the property. Any attempt at disabling or obstructing the cameras is prohibited and may result in the guest being evicted without refund.
