The space If you're needing a little more space than our smaller homes, or wishing to be hillside/lakeside, you'll enjoy the Pine Cone Cottage- a cozy vacation home nestled under a grove of towering white pines within the Giants Ridge Resort area.  Enjoy direct access to alpine and nordic skiing, plus classic northern Minnesota “lake place” living from this spacious home directly within the Giants Ridge Golf & Ski Resort area.   Comfortably accommodating up to 8 guests, the 2-story Pine Cone Cottage includes an open-concept main floor with kitchen, dining and lounge area.  Well-appointed with cozy furniture, a beautiful stone fireplace, full length porch with treetop views of Wynne Lake and the Laurentian divide, this space invites you to relax and entertain after an adventurous day outside. 2 bedrooms, shared bath complete the main floor.  A loft bedrooms with 2 twins and private bath overlook the main floor and share the sunrise and lake views. Guests are welcomed to use the resort amenities (seasonal outdoor pool and hot tub, tennis courts, trails, beaches, docks, and playground), all within easy walking distance during your stay at the Pine Cone Cottage. Pine Cone Cottage overlooks Wynne Lake and sits across from the Chamonix and Helsinki alpine chair lifts.  The winter ski chalet, Legends golf course, restaurants, bars and shopping are approx 1/4 mile north, and the Quarry golf course clubhouse is 1.5 miles to the south.  The Green Gate Guest Houses property is just 3 miles south on the Giants Ridge Road.   Guests may also travel “car free” between these properties via bicycle or cross-country skis along the beautiful Mesabi Trail, or via canoe/kayak on the Embarrass River. Guest access Guests enjoy full access to all our Association's amenities including seasonal outdoor pool/hot tub, beaches, paddle boats/boards (fee applies), firepit, tennis/pickleball court, playground, and walking/hiking trails. Giants Ridge Golf and Ski operations, outdoor climbing tower, disc golf, dining and lift-served mountain bike/xc trails are all nearby and require additional fees/passes (see Giants Ridge for current conditions and fees). Other things to note This property is one of 60 privately-owned units in the Villas at Giants Ridge Association. The outdoor common space and association amenities are shared among all owners and guests. Please respect quiet hours and limit your vehicles to 2-3 spaces/unit.
