Authentic Colorado log cabin built in 1972; our 2 bedroom cabin sleeps up to 8 people comfortably. Private deck, luxurious hot tub, ping pong table, gas fireplace, WiFi, games, books & tons of charm. The master bedroom has a queen bed & guest room includes full bed plus bunk bed, air mattress available as well. The ski shuttle stops RIGHT in front of the house. Just a 5 minute walk to park/playground and 10 minute walk to downtown Winter Park. Plush, cozy, a perfect getaway. Town license #5112. The space This cozy yet spacious Log Cabin is located right in the town of Winter Park. It sits on the mountain side, and there is a ski shuttle pickup at the end of the driveway! Bear Claw Cabin is fully furnished, cozy and inviting. The wood logs are all original (cabin was built in 1972) and it's very cool and campy but with modern conveniences including WIFI, cable TV, a private deck with large luxurious 8 person hot tub, gas fireplace, washer and dryer, dishwasher, all kitchen cooking accessories. We also have some books and games. The main floor/living room area is open and comfortable. Great for playing board games in front of the fire, watching tv, or just hanging out and reading. The bedrooms are both upstairs and include a Master bedroom with a queen bed, and a guest/kids room with a wood bunk bed and a full size bed. Being that it's a real log cabin the stairs aren't 100% uniform in size! The handrail is there to help navigate it but just to make you aware in case you or one of your loved ones has difficulty going up/down stairs. There is a sunny game room downstairs with a ping pong table (paddles and balls included) and a dart board. This room leads to the outdoor deck which includes a brand new 8 person large luxurious hot tub and gas grill. The deck is surrounded by trees with a vast mountain view. You get a wonderful view of the stars at night. We just want to express that this is an authentic, 1970's log cabin and as such has a few quirks! Most guests quickly get used to it and love it. Please note that the floor is uneven and the stairs irregular due to the construction out of large logs. We do our best of replace light bulbs, make repairs, clean cabinets, etc. regularly. We encourage you to call us right away so we can fix/repair any issues that you find. We hope you have a wonderful stay!! Guest access The entire house is accessible for the guests.
