This 2 bedroom - 1 bath - Industrial style apartment can sleep up to 4 guests and is a short 5 minute drive to both downtown Champaign and University of Illinois making it an ideal location for your next visit to Champaign. The Edge is an 1st floor suite in a 100 year old Victorian-style home that has been converted into a duplex. This downstairs apartment features a spacious and open kitchen area, as well as a king bedroom suite, 55” smart TV, and Murphy beds. With direct access to the backyard you are able to fully enjoy the enclosed yard, The front & back porches have swings/patio furniture. You will enter the home by going up the front porch stairs and entering through the front door and through the door at the end of the hallway. The private apartment entrance will have a keypad for you to enter your custom code. This home includes: -Two King Bedrooms -1 bathroom with a walk in shower -Fully equipped kitchen with breakfast nook -Washer/dryer The entry hallway as soon as you walk in the house leads to this downstairs suite. This entire private suite is at your disposal and available for use. The laundry area is also at your disposal. You are welcome to use the environmentally friendly detergent available. The upper apartment is a separately rented suite and not accessible to The Loft Guests. The back/side yard is available for use as is the front porch and is a shared area for all guests. Please clean up after your pets. Please do not enter the basement, backyard shed, or the garage, both of which are accessed from the outside of the house. I am available via the Airbnb app or by phone & can be on sight or send a trusted hand over should you need any assistance during your stay. The neighborhood is quietly located between downtown Champaign and the Mall. It a just short 5-minute drive to campus and less than that to downtown Champaign. 0.8 miles to downtown Champaign 1.9 miles to the U of I Champaign-Urbana offers a plethora of experiences! Whether you're a student, visitor, or resident, there's always something exciting to explore in this vibrant community. Here are some top spots to visit: University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign: Discover the beautiful campus, museums, and sporting events. Krannert Center for the Performing Arts: Enjoy live performances in music, theater, and dance. Allerton Park and Retreat Center: Explore stunning gardens, sculptures, and scenic trails.
