Our rental rates depend on the actual number of overnight guests; you must report to us any changes in the number of guests before staying. The space The Armstrong House has 5 bedrooms (Master bedroom on main floor), a spacious living room, a large eat-in kitchen that seats 16, and 2-1/2 baths. Relax in the sunroom (which can be used as another seasonal bedroom) and on the huge deck with gas grill overlooking the Chenango River. Recline and watch a movie from the media library in the large TV room. Free high speed internet and dog friendly. Heat pump with 4 mini-splits for heating & cooling. Good biking, hiking and trout fishing. Fine country living - perfect for entertaining or a peaceful retreat. Available year round for weekends, weekly, or longer rentals. The TV/media room room has 55” Samsung Smart HDTV with DirecTV; powerful Yamaha 5.1 channel sound system, Infinity speakers, and BluRay/DVD player. The living room has powerful Sherwood stereo receiver, turntable, CD player, and 2 Polk and 2 Altec speakers Come relax and enjoy our 70 acres along the Chenango River, complete with swimming holes and a trail along the adjacent canal. Please note that the Colgate athletic communications manager occupies the basement floor studio apartment at the back of the house.
