Adorable One Bedroom Apartment on the outer edge of the beautiful campus of Western Kentucky University. If you want to experience campus life, this is the location for you! Centrally located in BG, you will be just minutes from Beech Bend Park & Raceway Dragstrip, Lost River Cave, Local Theatres, Hot Rods Baseball, Jackson's Orchard, The Kentucky Museum, Downtown BG & the Corvette Museum with easy access to the Interstate and Mammoth Cave as well as Nashville Tennessee's Music City! This apartment is a 1 bedroom, open concept, centrally located on the edge of the campus of Western Kentucky University. It’s just the perfect size for 1-2 people. There is a small kitchen with a microwave, hot plate, toaster oven (NO range or large oven), crock pot and Keurig coffee maker, a relaxing living room space with a couch, coffee table and smart TV with Netflix, Hulu and Amazon access (but no cable), a separate bedroom with a Queen bed and a small bathroom with a shower only (no tub). There are remote control ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom and house temperature is maintained at 70 degrees for your comfort. The apartment has outdoor flood lights and is well lit and has a parking lot video camera for the Hearing Aid office located on the other side. There’s a keypad with an easy access doorlock for both the front and back doors as well as deadbolts locks. This is an older home and we renovated it so please do not expect perfection within the home. It is cute, quaint and homey and close to everything within BG! Amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap, fresh linens, towels and coffee are provided. Guests have access to the entire apartment space and plentiful parking at rear of the house with a convenient back door keypad entry. We live in Bowling Green and if you like, are available to meet you when you arrive and to offer any assistance you may need. Jeff is an audiologist and has his Audiology / Hearing practice on the other side of the duplex and it is open Mon- Thurs and is generally closed Friday- Sunday. If you happen to be staying with us during office hours, we request that you keep noise to a minimum. We want you to feel welcomed in this apartment and are happy to answer any questions you have or help you in any way. This apartment is on the edge of the beautiful WKU campus with The Registry apartments across the street and the Bookstore a few buildings away. There is a train track that runs on the outer edge of WKU and we are just over that track. You can easily walk around the gorgeous WKU campus, eat at one of the many campus restaurants or enjoy a WKU basketball, football, or baseball game without having to worry about parking. You are also walking distance to the Kentucky Museum located on WKU's campus. It's also a quick 15-20 minute walk or 5 minute drive to downtown BG and the downtown Shops, Nightlife and Restaurants. There is a Mexican restaurant within walking distance as well as an Asian restaurant and a Huka Lounge and Tattoo Parlor nearby as well. Because this apartment is located so close to WKU, the neighborhood is often busy and is full of excitement- especially during WKU events such as football, basketball, and baseball games. If you are attending a WKU event and don't want to worry about parking, this is the perfect spot for you! This apartment is conveniently located in Bowling Green, Ky, within driving distance to many local popular destinations and a few moments from the interstate. There is plenty of parking in the rear of the apartment. Bowling Green also has a taxi service and Uber. This is a quaint one bedroom apartment that is perfect for one or two guests and is located on the edge of the beautiful WKU campus, just across the train tracks, across from The Registry Apartments. We do not usually permit pets (only under special circumstances and with a pet fee) so please consider this when making your reservation. The building is an old duplex that we recently renovated and are still adding some final touches to. It's a great place to stay if you are visiting WKU for a game, to tour the school, to attend one of the many WKU events or to drop off your student. It's very close to downtown BG , the Local Theatres, Greenwood Mall, Fountain Square Park and Circus Square Park. It's less than 15 minutes to Lost River Cave, The Corvette Museum, Jackson's Orchard and BeechBend Amusement Park and Raceway. As noted, this is on the edge of campus and due to WKU students, there will be lots of excitement and it will most likely be bustling and loud outside. Also, take note that the train tracks that go through the WKU campus are very near the apartment and you will almost certainly hear a train or two during your stay.
