Wonder Valley Hot Springs, short drive to Joshua Tree NP. Tamarisk House is our largest house. It has four bedrooms, four full bathrooms and sleeps a total of 8 people in beds across 7 beds (6 full+1 king). Please be accurate with the number of guests. By default, we open 1 bedroom. If there are additional guests, we open additional bedrooms accordingly. A 400sf yoga room, a large kitchen, dining room, and three private hot springs soaking tubs. With WIFI. The space Wonder Valley Hot Springs is a 50 acre property with multiple homes, each with their own private stone soaking tub. You may see workers and/or other guests walking around on the land but your house will be completely private. This house has four bedrooms and four full baths: -Master Bedroom: King bed with private granite stone soaking tub in the room plus en suite full bathroom with rain shower -2nd Bedroom: 2 Full Beds -3rd Bedroom: Full over Full Bunk Bed -4th Bedroom: 2 Full Beds *Please note this bedroom is only accessible from the outside of the house so guests will need to walk outside about 15-20 feet and then walk back inside the house to use the restroom or use a restroom accessible from the outside of the house on the other side of the house. Please enter the number of guests you plan on bringing. The pricing varies by number of guests and includes the first 2 guests. The house can be booked for 8 guests and additional guests require permission and approval. We lock/unlock a set amount rooms depending on # of guests in attendance. The house also has two outside private stone soaking tubs that can be filled with water from our mineral rich hot springs and one inside the master bedroom. The large prep kitchen is equipped with pots, pans & utensils for cooking and serving (no microwave, toaster, blender or spices). We recommend bringing groceries as there are only a few restaurants nearby and limited grocery store options in the vicinity. We have the best wifi available in the area. Please note that our location is fairly remote and this wifi is slower than what is available in most towns and cities. We do have reliable cell service. We do not have any TVs or cable. All linens and decor are sustainably sourced and eco-friendly whenever possible and all decor is vegan and cruelty-free, we use no animal products on the property. All of our linens are organic or microfiber, and they get stained easily and bleach destroys them. What we do to be environmentally conscious is we wash them and then tie dye with natural indigo dye. So celebrate the imperfections. Entrance is located on a dirt road less than 1/2 mile from paved road. We are pet friendly but do require an additional $40 fee per pet, per night and pets must be disclosed in request to book message. Pets are not allowed on the bed or furniture. Please bring a dog bed or blanket. Pets are not allowed to be left unattended except in a crate. As we are a property where guests come for peace and quiet, we ask that you not bring dogs that will bark. Because we are entirely off the water grid and all of our water comes from the hot springs, there may be the equivalent of “low-tide” for an hour or two when the pressure gets very low to none on the indoor showers before it’s back to normal. This might mean a 1-2 hour wait. This may effect bathroom, shower, kitchen and tubs. When it’s cold out, it may also take 5-10 minutes for the pipes to drain and the hot water to flow from the hot springs to take a hot shower. The rock tubs are tuned in and get hot pretty fast year round. Guest access By renting this house you are agreeing to, recognizing and fully understanding certain things, including, but not limited to: - We have a strict no smoking indoor on the property. Violation of this policy will result in a $500 penalty. Please do not smoke anything indoors. - We have strict check-in and check-out times. Any exceptions require written permission. We have a 15 minute grace period at our 11am checkout. Beyond that we reserve the right to charge up to $100 per hour. We generally have other guests coming in, we have a cleaning crew scheduled and we do our best to be in service. • We have a other houses, pools and tubs on the property and are not included in this rental. You have full and exclusive to the private hot springs tub that is adjacent to your house. • The large pool and some of the other rock pools are rentable by the hour. Please inquire with your host. Other things to note All of our water comes from our hot springs and pressure may vary during the day and night. We have hot water, ambient water and drinkable water.
