Enjoy the well appointed Tiny Cabin and the PRIVATE 500sq ft screened in lounge, with private access to a hot tub, fire table , dining nook, and yoga/workout area. Cook meals in the cabin's full kitchen or outdoor grilling area. Relax and refresh while experiencing the joy of tiny cabin living! The space The Tiny Cabin was designed and built with the vision for simple yet comfortable living that supports a deep connection with nature and a smaller footprint on the planet. The meticulously designed 360 square foot Tiny Cabin makes use of every inch and lacks for nothing. With the small interior footprint, the majority of the space is dedicated to two truly magical outdoor areas. The private screened in Canopy Lounge among the trees with winter views of the mountains is equipped with a hot tub, dining area, fire pit, yoga/work out space, and seating area to relax and enjoy nature in. The grilling space is located in the patio just outside the Canopy Lounge. On the other side of the Lounge, you will find a quartz rock surrounded outdoor shower (available during warm months) and a short path up the hill takes you to the private hammock garden where you can enjoy a good book, take a nap, or enjoy the view of the trees. You can expect to see birds, deer, and other wildlife about while you enjoy the outdoors. The Tiny Cabin itself was built with all the essentials and packaged into a cozy, comfortable, and retreat-like space. With an emphasis on sustainability, the home is partially powered from a local community solar installation. Tall ceilings, ample windows, a fully equipped kitchen, a high end bathroom, a convertible working/dining area, and a comfy sleeping space with cozy sheets are a few of the features. Log in to your video streaming accounts and enjoy a movie while relaxing after a day of exploring. A complete coffee and tea bar, along with luxury shampoos/soaps are just a few of the other amenities provided. Guest access Guests have total PRIVATE access to the entire property, including the Cabin and the outside 500sq. screened in lounge. Other things to note LOCATION: The Tiny Cabin is located on an approximately 3 acre plot of land with 2 other tiny house rentals that can be booked separately or, depending on availability, can be rented together. We emphasize privacy and have set up each home to maximize guest seclusion and minimize visibility of the properties from each other. We include photos of the view of the other properties in each listing so that guests have a good sense of the visibility/seclusion. Also to note, the Tiny Cabin is located in close proximity to NC 194, a lightly traveled paved road with occasional traffic. Guest should be aware that they will hear the occasional car pass by. ACCESSIBILITY: To reach the Tiny Cabin , you must drive up a 150 winding gravel driveway to your tiny destination. We have never had a guest unable to make it up the driveway, but in the case of a major storm, there is a pullout across the road from the driveway where guests can park and walk up the short driveway. PARKING: You will have one dedicated parking space for your use during your stay. We may be able to accommodate a second vehicle and ask that you request this from us prior to your arrival. If you will be towing a trailer, you can park it across the street in the large pullout.
