Enjoy the sunrise and coffee (provided) off the private back patio deck with heater and relax at night by in the front patio with a fire pit. Both front and rear patios have BBQ grills and views, so take your pick where you want to cook, relax and take in the scenery with friends and family. Two incredible hiking trails just minutes away or head into Evergreen for activities such as mountain biking, trail running, hiking, or paddleboarding on the lake. Evergreen is a picturesque mountain community with restaurants, breweries, shopping, art galleries, and live outdoor concerts in the summer. Do not be surprised as deer and fox pass through the property regularly, you might even get the possible bear in the summer months. Elk sightings are frequent in Evergreen. The house has three bedrooms, each with queen beds, two full bathrooms, and a twin-size floor mattress is available upon request. The kitchen is a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and refrigerator. House has two floors; the top-level has the main entrance along with a master bedroom, second bedroom, full bathroom, kitchen, living room, fireplace, and access to the back patio and front patio. The bottom floor also has an entrance, third bedroom, full bath, TV room with sofas, and a washer/dryer room. House is at 8500ft elevation. The road is paved except the last 1/4 mile leading to the house. The driveway is paved and not steep. There is no need to deal with steep or dirt driveway, the driveway at Hummingbird Cabin is easily accessible. AWD vehicle recommended for winter bookings-just in case. The road to the house is maintained in winter by County. Sheets, hand sanitizer, Lysol, pillows, towels, blankets, shampoo, conditioner, and TP are included. There is WIFI throughout the home. Up to two pets are welcome. Please indicate when reserving that you will be bringing your pet, we have a special treat for our furry guest. There is a $100 pet deposit per pet that will be refundable. Please do not leave your pet unattended, and keep a close eye on them when outside. A large dog crate and multiple dog beds are available. Please do not allow pets to harass wildlife. House is NON-SMOKING, feel free to smoke on the patios. Please ensure all cigarettes are put out in the water before disposing of them. Please secure garbage bins outside due to the possibility of bears during the stay and upon departure. Laptop area is available with a wireless printer. The 62 inch HD flat screen that has Roku (Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, Disney+, HBO Max, etc.) The 32 inch HD flat screen in the master bedroom has Roku (Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, etc.) Quiet time 10 pm, you are welcome to continue to stay out on the patio. Please be mindful noise carries in the mountains. Please remember this is a family home that we AIRBNB, we are delighted to share it with you and hope you treat the house with love and care so that others may enjoy it. Guest can access the full home. There is one broom closet that is not accessible. We want you to feel like our home is your mountain get away. We will be available via text messages if needed. The neighborhood is a mountain community with plenty of space between homes, so you are sure to get privacy to relax. • 12 minutes away from downtown Evergreen • 30 minutes to Red Rocks Amphitheatre • 20 minutes away from I-70 • 45 minutes away from downtown Denver • 1 hour to DIA. • Ski resorts starting at 1 hr to 2 hr away-depending on weather and traffic • 45 minutes Blackhawk/Central City (Casinos) • Summertime activities are just 10 minutes away; everything from hiking, SUP, trail running and mountain biking. Wintertime actives in and around Evergreen include; snowshoeing, cross country skiing, ice skating and hockey on Evergreen Lake. Parking can easily accommodate 4 cars. Driveway is paved, although there is a quarter mile of dirt road to get to the home. Can easily sleep up to 8 guest with floor mattresses. One twin floor mattress is included upon request. Dining room table expands and can comfortable seat 8 guest. Fire pit must always be monitored and cannot be used during fire bans. During which time a propane pit is provided.
