Our inn is a mountain top retreat overlooking panoramic views of Morro Bay, SLO and beyond. We have three beautiful master suites, each with their own well appointed en suite. The open floor plan kitchen and living room is shared space that ties the suites together as a home. We're ideal for 6-8 people, and can accommodate a maximum of 10. The indoor spaces are open and airy, with high ceilings, plenty of natural light and endless views. All rooms have french doors overlooking a private covered patio and garden. Each suite has it's own ensuite with a large whirlpool tub, open-air shower and water closet; as well as a king size memory foam bed, Brooklinen luxury bedding, couch, fireplace, smart-tv, wi-fi and iPhone radio. Our common room/kitchen has a large sectional couch, 8 person dining table, electric range/oven and full-size refrigerator. The kitchen has reverse osmosis water, coffee maker and tea kettle, large electric griddle/grill, rice cooker, countertop convection oven/toaster, microwave, dishes and utensils. Locally roasted, organic coffee and tea is also provided. Two sets of large north/east facing slider doors allow for a seamless outdoor transition. Outside, the pergola covered picnic table overlooks Morro Bay, and the charcoal grill is ideal for get togethers with family and friends. Guests will have access to the entire vacation rental and all outdoor spaces. Our property is a 6,000 sq. ft. barn-style building. There are two levels separated by over two ft. of highly insulated space. When we’re in town, we live on the top story, and the lower story is completely private/dedicated guest space. We love hosting, however, we don't interact unless guests need something. Normal/raised voices or music can't be heard from one level to the next. No partiers please. Our central coast vacation getaway is located halfway between Los Angeles and San Fransisco. Nestled in the Irish Hills, at the top of Prefumo and See Canyon, our inn is a unique destination. Situated on our 100 acre ranch, we offer wide open spaces and natural beauty. Panoramic views of rolling hills, northern coastline and the Santa Lucia Mountains provide a spectacular backdrop from all vantage points. Mountaintop sunrises start the day off right. Lounge around or get outside for a ride, walk or run. Guests have full privacy, but if you need directions or assistance, we're here for you. If you're not sure what you want to do for the day, let us know your interests and we'll recommend options. In the evening, we encourage guests to enjoy our amazing sunsets. If you like to BBQ, this is the time! We are far enough from town to feel away from it all, and close enough to be in San Luis Obispo or Avila Beach in 15-20 minutes. Our inn is a mountaintop retreat. It takes about 15 minutes to drive through Prefumo or See Canyon to the top of the hill. The drive is a paved and completely safe, county maintained road. However, it is somewhat winding, and sometimes single lane, so please use caution. Sustainability is important and our lives and business practices reflect this concept. Our inn is solar/battery powered, and was built to exceed the green building requirements of the County of San Luis Obispo. The structures exterior shell was constructed using Structural Insulated Panels for maximum energy efficiency, which provides environmental advantages such as high insulation properties and mold resistance for indoor air quality. Superior insulation significantly reduces our heating and cooling needs.
