“St Geneva” River View-7 min to the Q Center

Welcome to "St. Geneva"! I call it that because of the home's ideal location between 2 gorgeous and quaint towns-St. Charles and Geneva. Between the two towns there's plenty of shopping and night life to be had. The home is located along The Fox River. Just cross the two way street to access miles of biking/walking trails. Feel free to trolley my 2 kayaks over to the launch just a couple blocks away. Walk to the farmer’s market for fresh food to prepare in the fully equipped kitchen. The space The house is cozy with beautiful views of the parks and river. Guests have access at no extra cost to 2 kayaks, 2 fishing poles, a gas operated fire pit and a gas grill. Please give notice when you wish to use these. Bald Eagle watching in the winter months right from the warmth of the house! There are 3 dedicated paved parking spots located behind the garage. Enjoy! ****Please know that in addition to my home being cleaned and sanitized, I have personally taken extra steps to follow after the cleaning crew and sanitize all surfaces and contact points including, but not limited to, counter tops, knobs, switches, handles, TV controllers, etc. I’m a little OCD when it comes to providing a comfortable and SAFE space for my guests. If you still feel the need to perform this step yourself, please refrain from spraying disinfect directly on switch plates and knobs. In the past, the liquid has been known to run down the wall and etch the paint. This may trigger the use of your deposit for repairs. Instead, please spray the disinfectant directly on to your cloth/paper towel first.**** Guest access I'm currently occupying the upstairs unit, so the common areas are the screen room, utility room (washer and dryer, which I may occasionally need to use), patio with tables and chairs, a grill, and the yard. For chilly weather there is a gas operated fire pit (seasonal). Sit around the fire on a cool night with your favorite beverage for a chat or roast marshmallows without smelling like a forest fire! There is Netflix, Amazon Video, PS3, DVD player and WiFi access. I have plenty of apps for other streaming platforms that you may sign in with your credentials. If you’re building your trip around a particular TV station, ask me ahead of time to confirm I have it. In addition, there are good old fashioned cards and board games. Games and toys for children also. Take advantage of the spacious yard for lawn games, which are also provided. Other things to note Guests will be given an entry code 1-3 days before check in which will allow them access through the screen room to their secure door where there will be a key for the deadbolt. Most often I will be around to greet guests when they first arrive. If I’m not able to be there I will definitely inform my guests. ****When booking, please let me know what brings you to the area and who will be staying with you in the house. Please be sure to register the correct number of guests so there will be no surprises once you are here. Extra guests will still be charged according to my rates even after check in. It’s better to be open and honest up front. All those traveling with you as well as those you entertain at the house will need to be informed of and be in agreement with the house rules. Please put any furniture, plates and utensils back in the original location before checking out*** Some guests have made mention of bothersome road noise. There are fans located in the closets which can be used as white noise. Ear plugs available by request.
