Historic Log Cabin clean and private getaway

Rest and refresh in this 1836 Log Cabin with original hand hewn beams and the feel of an era long past. We strive to bring the present to life here with plenty of modern touches and comfort in every room. A full kitchen with special extras like dishwasher, garbage disposal and full size gas range and a refrigerator with ice maker. The entire house is wrapped in porches where there is space to enjoy the nature and peacefulness of country life. Off the porch there is a huge open air hot tub for8. The space PLEASE NOTE: There is a basement at this cabin that is not included with this listing, but is available for an additional charge if you'd like to add it. To view the basement click on my profile and its listed as King Suite-week days only. Please contact me to add this room to your reservation. Don't worry -if you choose not to add this suite to your stay it will remain empty, so only your group will be in the cabin. No one else will have access to the basement during your stay. The upstairs of this cabin has 2 bedrooms. One with a queen and one with a full bed and a bunkbed. Also upstairs is a full bath with tub/shower combo supplied with soap and shampoo and extras like toothbrushes, razors in case one is forgotten. Next to the bedrooms is a small children's area with toys, books and a table with coloring supplies. On the main level is a full bath with an antique clawfoot soaking tub, living room with DVD player that attaches to the 60" smart TV (if needed), and a full kitchen with dining room table that seats 6 very comfortably. There are a few table games and books in the kitchen corner cabinet for some quiet entertainment. Out on the wrap around porch is a set of hammock swing chairs, an actual hammock, an 8 foot folding table for games or eating around and plenty of lawn chairs. There are also built in table tops overlooking the hot tub for enjoying a drink or just hanging out. In the deck box there are plenty of yard games. The charcoal Weber grill is also on the porch along with charcoal and all the necessary equipment to light it. In the yard is a fire ring (and wood) for relaxing after dark or whenever you prefer. Only guests listed on the reservation are allowed on the property. No extra guests without written permission.
