Escape to this private studio, detached from our main home. The Lady Bird Lake hike & bike trail is right outside, where you can use our bikes, paddleboards, and kayaks. Open the blackout cellular shades to feel suspended among the trees & see Monk parakeets, and many other birds. This studio makes excellent use of the space above our 2-car garage with an elegant bathroom, organic mattress, & butcher block countertops. 2G Google Fiber wifi It's tight for 3 or 4 people. The space Exactly 1 mile east of I35/ downtown. 1 block from Launderette restaurant and only a few blocks from countless fantastic East Austin bars and restaurants. You are welcome to use the pool if the main house is not rented. The house tends to rent only on weekends during the high seasons. Guest access The best way to access the apartment is to come down the alley from the side street, Robert T. Martinez. We're the 4th house on the right (white). There is a gravel parking space for you next to the garage. You are welcome to come and go from the down the side of the main house, as well, but parking in front of the house is resident-only and requires a visitor pass. If you are dropped off in front of the main house, enter the gate on the right and go back to the apartment above the garage. Other things to note You are welcome to use the saltwater plunge pool when the main house is not rented. I'll happily turn the pool heater anytime. Just let me know if you want to use it!
