Description
It is an isolated place on the shores of Lake Thor, (2 min walk) for people who want to get away from the city, for a quiet family reunion or to walk in our 100-acre forest. It is located very close to SEPAQ's Frontenac Park. There are no immediate neighbors, away from viruses! If you're looking for a secluded spot in the woods – but with stunning views (see photos) – and easy, private access to the lake, you won't be disappointed! Come on weekends: checkout at 4pm (Sept-May) The space The cottage is relatively large, extremely well-fenestrated, with a large open room comprising living room, dining room and kitchen. There are two bedrooms upstairs and two more on the ground floor with very comfortable beds. There is a large terrace with umbrellas and another covered one for rainy days. Note that from September to May, we offer the "weekend special" which is a late checkout at 4 p.m. on Sunday! Guest access We lived in Asia for several years and got used to taking off our shoes when entering. In order to keep the place clean and protect the wooden floors, we require everyone – without exception – to also remove their shoes when entering. This is the sine qua non condition for renting our chalet. For everyone's safety, security cameras are installed OUTSIDE ONLY! Other things to note From September to May, we change the checkout time on Sunday to 4 p.m. to allow you to relax as much as possible. Please note that we do not allow parties that are too alcoholic with a large number of people. We will not allow more than 8 people to stay overnight and no more than 4 visitors for a short visit. The latter would not be able to stay for the night at the last minute without paying the extra fee. It is important for you to register the number of visitors because we require an additional $50 per person per night for more than four people. Finally, from December to April, only 4-wheel drive vehicles can climb the steep slope. Others can be legally parked on the side of the road.
