Check their schedules online. Just hop on Hwy 161 to Graham, Eatonville, and Elbe. This is the gateway to Mt. Rainier National Park. It is an amazing drive thru the mountains. Stop in Elbe for the wild berry milk shakes or take a train ride into the mountains. The best place for low cost groceries is Winco Foods just down the street on 176TH ST E. Fred Meyer and Walmart are also close by. For the latte lovers coffee stands are within a short walk from the home. If you are from out of town the Tacoma waterfront has a lot of fine dining establishments. One of my favorites is the Cliff House on the north side of Commencement Bay. Google driving directions. It has amazing views and get reservations . If possible stop by the Point Defiance Zoo in Tacoma after lunch and see some amazing animals, aquariums, old forests and some historical forts. It is also an easy visit to Joint Base Lewis McChord thru the back or front gates. For a good breakfast the Black Bear Diner near 160th and Meridian is also a winner.
