This 1 bedroom/ 1 bath apartment located in Everglades City is clean, simple, and comfortable. It is perfectly located to explore Everglades National Park as well as other preserves and wildlife refuges in southwest Florida. Everglades City is a tiny little town literally at the end of the road on the West coast of Florida, approximately 45 minutes from Marco Island and Naples. The space You will be staying in a private 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment located on the 2nd floor of a multi-family property. There is a queen size bed in the separate bedroom and a spacious full bathroom with shower/ tub. All linens are provided. The living / dining / kitchen area has high ceilings and big sliding glass doors that you can open to let in tropical breezes. Or just open the curtains to enjoy the Florida sunshine and amazing sunsets in air conditioned comfort. The kitchen is equipped with basic plates, pots/ pans and utensils so you can cook your own meals. Or you can walk to several local restaurants. During your stay you will have access to wireless internet. There is a TV in the unit, with Netflix, Amazon, and basic cable. Although we are on the water, there are no swimming beaches in Everglades City. The closest beaches are on Marco and in Naples, about 45 minutes from Everglades City. Guest access In addition to the apartment, guests also have access to the back yard patio. Other things to note Once you book your reservation, make sure you follow the directions to the house posted on Airbnb. Some navigation systems will take you to the wrong house! Your phone and/or internet service may be spotty once you get into the Everglades, so you may want to print or save the directions before you begin your drive to Everglades City.
