This home has lots of character. Great for groups, retreats, families w/ grandparents, cousins, etc… Beautiful view of Monterey Bay from living room and front porch (an excellent staircase for group photos). Gorgeous sunsets! Large living room (perfect for conversations and games!), dining room, and galley kitchen. Additional seating in backyard. 5 large bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (2 en-suite) Note: there is an attached apartment (separate entrance, no shared space) which is sometimes occupied. The space Bedrooms: • Butterfly Suite (up to 5 people—king size bed, double sofa, single sofa bed) • Beach Room (up to 4 people—queen size bed, single sofa bed and a foldout single bed) • Captain's Room (up to 3 people—queen bed and single sofa bed) • HoneyBee Room (up to 3 people—queen size bed and single sofa bed) • Tintin's Study (up to 2 people—double sofa bed): if you don't need this as a bedroom, it can be kept as a sofa and add to the living space, as it has a sliding door which opens onto the living room. All sofa beds have linens provided so that you can be free to decide which ones to use. Please book for the correct number of guests as price increases after the first 8 people. You are welcome to use one parking spot on the driveway (right side) and bring your bags through the side entrance if it’s easier for you. Other things to note • We are just down the street from the fire station, which means that we're all set if we have an emergency, but we also have the pleasure of knowing every time anyone else does. ;) • There is sometimes a long-term tenant who lives in an attached apartment with a separate entrance - and sometimes our family stays there. • We are on a quiet main street next to a school. The street doesn't have much traffic, but the sound carries when someone drives by fast or playing thumping music. We do not get much noise from the school at all. During school drop-off and pick-up times, it can be hard to find parking—otherwise, there is usually plenty of room on the street in front of the house. • If you would not like to book the entire house, individual rooms may be listed separately for your dates.
