Mountain Home 15 mins from Boulder

Exactly 10.0 mi. to downtown Boulder / 5.8 mi. to north Boulder. Located on scenic Lefthand Canyon. Hike directly from backyard or listen to sounds of the river from front porch! Enjoy the outdoor shower if you visit in the summertime! The space Avoid the hectic life and traffic in Boulder while still being close to Boulder if needed. Mountain living is sweet! A perfect spot to launch from if you're visiting for outdoor recreation. I leave from my driveway on foot for a trail run or on bike for a road or mtn cycle. There are 3 bedrooms in the house- (1) master with a queen, (2) another bedroom with a queen, and (3) a third, smaller room with a bunkbed.. Additionally, the couch can be used to sleep another person if needed. But for simplicity, let's call it a 4-6 person accommodation. It is a 1 bathroom accommodation, but in the summertime, the outdoor shower can additionally be used. Please note that because this is seasonally my primary residence some seasons, I rent only to responsible adults who keep their living spaces clean and will treat my house as if it is your own. I ask that you kindly share the reason for your trip during your booking inquiry, as well as confirm exact guest count. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house. The house has all the standard items including wifi, but no television. It has other amenities however that are IMO better than a TV including a wood burning stove, and outdoor shower. Other things to note Please note two things: first that there is NO telephone landline (nor television) in the house! I do however have great and fast wifi, so wifi calling works well. Otherwise, the closest cell phone service is 2 miles up Lee Hill towards Boulder. Second I do not use blinds on the windows. This should not be a privacy issue for you (you cannot see into the house from the road). However, some guests have commented that the house is quite bright in the morning hours, especially in the summertime. I am an early riser and love the early light, so this suites me fine, but if you like to sleep late and sunlight bothers you, this house could be a problem for you. You could try putting drapes over the windows, or sheets, etc., but that won't help you with the skylights. There is no microwave in the house. The (regular) coffee pot lives in one of the bottom cabinets to the right of the refrigerator. There are coffee cones and filters in other cabinets, so look around. The house does not have a large dining room table, but there is a small, square table that can sit four. The table generally has one barstool pulled up, but the other three seats can be found in the closet of one of the bedrooms, so have a look. There is also a picnic table on the front porch with two chairs, which is where myself and guests usually dine... The house is fairly close to the main road (Lefthand Canyon)...within about 100 yards. Thus, it is quieter than Boulder, but there is still some canyon traffic, far more of it in the summer recreational months than in the winter. If you are looking for a house that is way far away from a road, this is not yours. But that being said, I don't myself find it to be any problem! Also, wintertime sees a lot of snowfall in these mountains. If you are renting anywhere in the wintertime and are NOT near a plowed road, you better have high clearance and 4WD. You can hear the creek from the house, but it is across the street and does not border the property. A prior guest commented that he thought the house was on the creek, so I just wanted to clarify this.
