Nestled in the heart of Downeast Maine, our cottages are a peaceful retreat. You can enjoy fishing, canoeing, swimming and more. The space This single level cottage features a field-stone fireplace. There is also a monitor heater for those cold nights. It has a cozy kitchen and dining area, a living room, bathroom with shower and two bedrooms that sleep 4. One bedroom has a double bed and one has 2 twin beds. The screened porch overlooks Robinson's Pond and is a short walk to the swings, badminton/volleyball net and swimming area. Guest access You have free access to: Wireless internet Boats & canoes with life jackets Swimming & fishing on the premises Free wood for fireplaces and wood-stoves Play area with swingset, horseshoes, volleyball & badminton A large library of DVDs for you to borrow (you must bring something on which to watch them; there are no televisions or DVD players in the cottages) A picnic table and outdoor charcoal grill Other things to note Please take note of the provided directions. Unfortunately, GPS will at times take people down a dirt road rather than following the paved nearby roads. Also, GPS does not always bring people to our exact location and may miss us by a mile or more in one direction or another. If you have any issues, please call us. Coming from the south or central Maine: Follow I95 to exit 182A, take ramp right and merge onto I395. Follow I395 to the end, approximately 5 miles. Stay right and take exit 6A and merge onto Rt 1A. Continue approximately 5.5 miles and take a left at the traffic light onto Rt 46/Kidder Hill Rd. Drive another 5 miles to the end of the road, take a right onto Rt 9/Airline Rd. Continue approximately 55 miles to Wesley, ME. Take a right onto Rt 192 at the top of Day Hill, just past a small store on the left. Follow Rt 192 approximately 16 miles to Machias. At the stop sign, take a left onto Court Street. Drive 1/2 mile and turn left onto Rt 1 north. Follow approximately 4 miles into East Machias. Take a left onto Rt 191. Continue approximately 10 miles and take a right onto Rt 86 at a sharp curve in the road. Follow Rt 86 about 9 miles. Our sign will be on the left, at the top of a hill. Take a left onto Salmon Road (which is the Robinson's Cottages road) at the sign. Coming from the north: From the St. Stephen, New Brunswick, Canada border with Calais, ME, follow Rt 1 north to the Moosehorn National Wildlife Refuge. Take a left onto Charlotte Rd (near the eagles nest). (If coming south on Rt 1 from north of Calais, go through Baring and take a right onto the Charlotte Rd when you get to the Moosehorn). Continue approximately 14 miles. Turn left onto Rt 214/Ayers Junction Rd. Follow for approximately 7 miles. At the stop sign in Pembroke, turn right onto Rt 1. Follow Rt 1 south to Dennysville, approximately 4 miles. Take a right onto Rt 86 and drive approximately 2 miles. Our sign will be on the right, just before a large hill.Take a right onto Salmon Road (which is the Robinson's Cottages road) at our sign.
