Make sure you read my reviews because the reviews will tell u a lot about the LH . also on the fall of the year we have an large number of ladybugs , they are released by scientist that say that the ladybugs destroy the fungus that all killing the trees in western Carolina , the ladybugs are out of our control. quiet and very clean . We take pride in making the light house a home away from home . You are in the safest community that you can find . We love the light house . If we were looking for a place to stay it would be the light house . Washer dryer , air-conditioned and heat. The light house is equipped with all comforts of home. I didn't always leave home but when I do I stay at the (URL HIDDEN) minute you can be canoeing , the next few minutes you can be fishing and there's hiking . All these attractions are just down the road. just about a mile or you just might like the peace and quiet. You can have that also at the light house. If you have 8 to 10 people you would like to entertain we have the perfect place with work out equipment, pool table and Lounge . There will be a fee. We will be available 24/7. If there are any problems . We are just a stone cast away. If you need directions or just need to fellowship with someone . If you would like prayer or need answers concerning the word of God . We will be more then happy to help. At no time we will force our faith on you. This neighborhood it's an old neighborhood you will find generations upon generations they are always quick to help in time of need this is a caring community this community put the H in hospitality. If you're lucky you may get a chance to gather around a fire pit and listen to the stories about how this community started. You will here about a man who was going north, got to north Carolina and thought he had made it pass the mason and Dixie line. He wrote home .mother I made it up north, and mother it's so beautiful up here. What will you write home and say? I think I know. .....it's beautiful up here. Sorry to say the only transportation is by car or taxi maybe one of our good neighbors. They are always ready to give somebody a helping hand.
