Pool is not available to guests booking Camino Casita unless they are part of the Main House group. Otherwise, the pool is for Main House guests only. Amenities include a private deck, BBQ and a firepit for Casita guests! Additional amenities include a kitchen/living/dining common room + 2 private bedrooms, full bathroom, A/C, TV w/WiFi, full-size appliances (refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, coffee pot, toaster, dishes/glasses, pots & pans, cooking utensils, flatware, wine glasses, etc. Access to tennis court and basketball is by appointment only. + PARTIES/EVENTS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED We are now pet-friendly! This is new for us, so we are proceeding with caution. We will require an additional pet fee for all animals not certified ADA. If you plan to bring a pet, our limit is one for the Casita (excluding ADA's) and we cannot have more than two onsite at a time (including ADA's). Our professional VR Rental cleaning staff is CDC & Airbnb certified for Covid-19 preventive cleaning. A mask, gloves and shoe coverings are worn during every cleaning, and every precaution is taken to ensure a clean and safe rental for each guest. We diligently follow best practices for the following: 1. Cleaning practices in accordance with CDC & certified cleaning experts. 2. Zero contact self-check-in with instructions provided before arrival 3.Thorough cleaning & sanitizing of all high touch surfaces throughout 4.Laundering in hot water w/antibacterial products 5.Offering antibacterial hand soap, dish soap, multi-purpose anti-bacterial cleaning solution, fresh sponge or dish brush, and paper products to every guest for use during their stay 6.Respectfully requesting that ALL guests and their company remove shoes before entering the house, storing them at the door or inside the entryway + This is not a requirement but a request so that guests may keep their space more sanitary during their stay. (Base price varies per night depending on season, availability and holidays - please inquire about a quote and specify whether you are interested in the Casita alone or the entire estate). PLEASE NOTE: The main access driveway only is paved. However, the turn-off from the main road to the driveway entrance of the house is on an UNPAVED private residential road. If you are planning a tour, limo/car service you will need to meet them at the access road, 1/4 mile walk from the property line. In addition, this property is on septic. Water is supplied by the city with a reservoir pump to bring the water up the hill to the property. + If you'll be arriving after dark, drive slowly and look for the CAMINO ESTATES sign with lantern lights at the bottom of the long paved driveway. Please note: We've added a Rental Agreement to our listing. We will send you a request for virtual signing of this document prior to check-in. We respectfully request this be completed prior to your arrival. EXTERIOR/POOL AREA: The pool is located in the courtyard, just past the parking area, inside the gated patio. Pool is now HEATED and equipped with a solar pool cover & vacuum, which keeps it clean and helps the sun maintain the pool at a very comfortable temperature. We recommend you use the cover whenever the pool is not in use. This keeps it clean and warm. The pool area has 4 seating areas- 1. Large BRAND NEW island with stool seating for 10 2. Outdoor Love seat w/table and sunning bed (size between twin-double) 3. Two chairs w/side table 4. Outdoor sectional & chairs with seating for up to and table 8 5. Two lounge chairs for sunbathing. 6. BBQ Island with seating for 2 (Cover, Covers for all furnishings, Firepit Cover, Pool Cover) 7. Plaza lighting - set on a timer to turn on and off automatically. The lower level patio: 1. Outdoor sectional, chairs and a table 2. Small cafe' table for 2 3. We've also added a firepit to this lower level patio area. 4. Plaza lighting The upper level deck: 1. Rocking chairs for viewing hot hair balloons at sunrise and sunset. There is an access ramp located behind the patio loveseat which is suitable for assisted wheelchair access, rolling luggage and rolling coolers. Tennis Court: tennis balls, rackets and ball bin located in the lower level den near the slider (watch your step on the custom railroad tie stairway!) The court is part of the property and private for our Main House guests use only. *NEW AMENITY! We've added a small basketball net near the tennis court area. Management will do their best to provide a basketball whenever available. However, we recommend bringing your own if this is an amenity you plan to use while visiting. Trash cans located onsite for guest use. Check out the House Manual for further information. When cans are at the base of the driveway it is either for trash day or to prevent pests and odors from invading your stay. Please do not relocate the cans without permission from management. Trash day is MONDAY, other than a holiday. If cans are not at the curb, they will not be emptied. Entry is on the upper level, and you'll walk directly into the open concept living/dining room, with breathtaking views beyond the sliders to the wrap-around deck. To the left is a fully stocked kitchen, with an electric cook top, produce sink, standard 12-cup coffee maker, coffee grinder, toaster, blender, crockpot, dishwasher, microwave, double oven and refrigerator. Please note: There is an ice maker in the refrigerator/freezer, however it will only put out a standard amount of ice every 24hrs. We HIGHLY recommend bringing your own ice with you if you shop beforehand. Having a couple bags of ice on-hand always makes for a happier gathering with friends and family! We do provide a bottled water starter supply, coffee, filters, creamer, tea and sweeteners. Snacks are available onsite. If you're on a limited diet and would like to request sugar-free or gluten-free snacks, we can usually have a few available for you if it's requested well in advance of your arrival (allowing for shipping). Just reach out to Property Management and we will see what we can do to assist. BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS: This space is ideal for 10-13 adults or a mixture of 14 guest's total. All of these spaces are within a room, with a door and privacy. Please review the following carefully. PLEASE NOTE: This property is on a septic system. Guests may occasionally detect an odor outdoors with vent emissions of the septic system, but this is very rare. Regular and stringent maintenance, in addition to enzymes are uses regularly to maintain the septic system, including in the property sinks and toilets. Please notify management of any issues onsite. In addition, there are several large propane tanks to fuel the fire pits and BBQ's. These devices will also safely vent off pressure. If you're unsure, always report a concern and we will have it addressed immediately. Adults will have PRIVATE sleeping in 4 king beds and 1 double bed (room w/o window). However, adults or children who are able to sleep in the room adjoining the master bedroom will have no private entrance/exit. There is a Pack-n-Play onsite for babies & toddlers, located in the Master. To the left beyond the kitchen, is the hallway to the main bathroom, Master bedroom, Jack & Jill bathroom and an adjoining room (NO PRIVATE ENTRANCE/EXIT - Guests walk through the Master to depart. On the lower level, you'll find a bedroom to the right of the stairs, with a double size bed and a closet (no window). This room is perfect for 1-2 teens/children or 1-2 adults. Two adults are able to sleep in this room if a double bed is satisfactory! Beyond this room is the lower-level main bathroom which includes a large washer/dryer. In the den, you'll find a slider leading to the lower-level patio with seating and a wet bar space for entertaining. The wet bar area is where a first aid kit and a fire extinguisher are located. Beyond the den is a hallway leading to two bedrooms with ensuites. The first ensuite has a full bathroom with a shower/tub combo and the second ensuite has a full bathroom with a walk-in shower. Both bedrooms have new 12” King memory foam beds. ADDITIONAL & ALTERNATIVE SLEEPING: Pull-out QUEEN sofa bed in the Living Room + Pull-out QUEEN sofa bed in the downstairs Den. These spaces are NOT PRIVATE and do not have doors, and they are ideal for up to 4 adults or younger visitors. All linens and towels are clean and provided. In addition, paper products, soaps/shampoo, coffee/creamer, tea, bottled water and snacks are available. Additional amenities include a high-chair, a Pack-n-Play, board games/playing cards and pool towels. Everything is ready for you to just bring a bag, yourself and enjoy! We do not use of the fireplaces any longer, as this is a HIGH FIRE ZONE AREA and burning wood can be dangerous with the potential risk of wildfires. This is also an "at risk" clause on our property insurance policy. ALL OUTDOOR FURNITURE COVERS WE PROVIDE MUST BE REMOVED CAREFULLY AND FOLDED WHEN furnishings, BBQ and firepit are in use. Please store these in a clean, dry area where they will not blow away, sustain damage or get dirty. Guests are responsible for recovering the pool when not in use DURING COLDER MONTHS in order to keep out dirt/debris and preserve the temperature. Guests are also responsible for covering all furnishings when they are not in use (w/covers provided) especially during rainy weather. Furniture is not to be exposed to the elements overnight or during rain whenever possible. Please help us keep the available amenities beautiful for many guests to come. BBQ's and firepit must be allowed to cool completely before covers are placed on the items. Once these are completely cooled, we require covers to be replaced when items are not in use. Thank you! Please do not leave covers laying on the patio. They will be damaged or blow away. Area/Property Location: Welcome to the country! While this is an upscale property with ample amenities, we are located in farmland. The benefits are the views, wide open spaces, with close proximity to dozens of beautiful wineries. Some things to note before arrival: Country atmosphere with dirt roads, horses, working farms with dogs, roosters, chickens, goats, and several varieties of pests (ants and other crawling/flying critters). All of this is part of the charm, and we encourage you to take it all in as part of the overall experience. A stay at this property is one you won't soon forget and certainly not regret! PLEASE NOTE: This entire property is licensed by The County of Riverside. Under licensing guidelines and occupancy restriction, we are not able to accommodate any requests for weddings, large bachelor/bachelorette parties, large gatherings and parties of any sort. Occupancy is strictly 14 guests in the MAIN HOUSE and/or 4-6 guests in the CASITA. We frequently host intimate bachelorette celebrations, bridal showers and work-related retreats not exceeding maximum occupancy of 14 guests in the MAIN HOUSE and/or 4-6 guests in the CASITA. Please carefully review sleeping accommodations. PARTIES/EVENTS/CORPORATE GATHERING ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED. FIREPIT #1: MAIN HOUSE guests only, located outside the lower-level den door (sliding glass). FIREPIT #2: CASITA guests only - Private deck w/BBQ, seating and firepit, located on the small deck to the left of the entrance and to the backside of the property. CAMINO ESTATES GUESTS are welcome to use the pool area and patio, the back patio on the lower level just outside the den, the upper-level deck off the living room and dining room, and the tennis court. ALL guests are welcome to pick grapefruits from the fruit trees and walk around the graded area to the right side of the driveway entrance. This area is NOT fenced, so please use caution. The remainder of the property is either wild-growing or closed for guests of CAMINO CASITA. No outdoor amenities/accommodations are shared unless guests have booked the entire property. MAIN HOUSE access to pool, tennis court anytime CASITA access to tennis court only and by appointment only License #RVC-594 No-contact, self check-in information provided on the morning of arrival. Detailed property information is provided in check-in EMAIL correspondence. A House Manual is onsite & property information listed on this site. Property Management is available by text and extremely responsive to all guest inquiries. On weekends, booking site is not monitored more than once per day. TEXT IS BEST :) Property address, Entry codes, WiFi & TV app access provided in check-in email. Early check-in may not be available, and is dependent on guest bookings, housekeeping/maintenance scheduling and property managers discretion. A check-in time will NOT be guaranteed until the evening prior to arrival. On occasion, we may have a maintenance issue or a repair reported by our guests within the first 2 hours of arrival. These issues will be prioritized in order of urgency. The guest will always be offered an option to receive a maintenance repair during their stay or wait until after check-out. If ever maintenance or housekeeping (or an outside vendor) must visit the property during a guest stay, the BOOKING GUEST must provide permission to enter during a specified block of time. We do not ask our guests to put their trip on-hold to wait for a contractor/vendor. Please go about your plans and we will enter discretely with permission, exit and lock everything back up in a timely manner. A clean and 100% sanitized rental is our #1 priority. PARTIES/EVENTS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED. QUIET HOURS STRICTLY 10:00 P.M. TO 8:00 A.M. MONDAY THRU SUNDAY. MAXIMUM PARKING ALLOWED: 5 VEHICLES CAMINO MAIN HOUSE & 2 VEHICLES CAMINO CASITA. Street parking and parking along the driveway is PROHIBITED and considered to be a HAZARD in the event of a fire. It is recommended to have private transportation, either your own vehicle, a rental or Uber/Lyft services. Guests will not have access to the garage on the property. Main access roads are paved and the nearest cross street (Mesa) is as well. However the street the property is located on is a fairly densely compacted dirt & gravel road. Once you arrive at the property, entrance to the driveway and the entrance is paved with an incline. If you are planning a limo/car service during your stay, drivers will not approach the address via the unpaved road. Mesa is 1/4 mile from the property and a nice walk to meet your driver. Many guests have been so happy they decided to stay with us despite this, because the location on the unpaved road and incline allows the opportunity for views of the countryside like no other....being up near the sky is what it's about. PLEASE NOTE: The stove/oven is electric and it has a built in safety sensor. In order for the stove top to remain on, a pot must be on the burner. Once the pot is removed, after a period of time it will automatically shut off. In addition, ONLY the pots and pans provided are to be used on the electric cook top, as they are special convection/non-scratch cookware. Please be very cautious while cooking: Pots that boil over or burn will mar/scratch and damage the surface of the glass cook top. Thank you for your assistance in this. CAMINO ESTATES Tennis Court & Pool: Feel free to use the HEATED pool. The current temperature is a consistent 80 degrees, and some guests have brought wet suits to use the pool during winter/early spring months if this temperature is too low for you. You may also use the tennis court. This is located on property grounds and is private for our guests only. Please be aware that rackets & tennis balls provided are not professional but for recreational use. If you prefer sturdier equipment, you're welcome to bring some along or stop on the way at one of the two closest distributors (Wal*Mart or Big 5). We've also added a basketball net (basketball provided when available). Spring in Temecula means Springtail season! What's a Springtail? A very tiny, and completely harmless, black gnat. They do not sting or bite, and they are nothing but a bit of a nuisance. They are not an indication that the property isn't clean or maintained, and they are not fruit flies. In fact, regular treatments by a professional company are performed, both indoors & out. This helps keep these at bay, but they are an inevitability in this area; they like the grapes as much as we do! We recommend keeping doors and windows completely shut at all times, relying on A/C to control temperatures during the spring. They are so tiny they can get in through the little holes on a screens mesh. If you see them, feel free to report it but there is little we can do to prevent these completely and every home in this area faces these same challenges every season. We do our absolute best to mitigate these critters, so you'll be as comfortable as possible during your stay at Camino Estates. Speaking of critters, the country landscape surrounding Camino Estates can include some wildlife. You may see lizards, rabbits or an occasional fruit bat anywhere in wine country. It is always best to keep all doors closed during your stay for everyone's comfort.
