You can also hike to the beautiful overlook of katterskill water falls. Another great trip is to the historic town of Hudson only a 35-40 min drive with antique shops and historic buildings, or go for a riverboat ride on the Hudson River. The property has a security camera facing the driveway and storage shed and bridge/ stream.
