Cozy lake view cottage is perfect for a couple or family to enjoy Cumberland Lake. Relax on the covered back deck overlooking the lake at Burnside Marina. Short 10 minute drive to several restaurants, shopping, Burnside Marina or General Burnside State Park and drive in theater in Somerset. (No access to the lake from the property ) The cottage is in a very quiet, safe, well established neighborhood. The back has a covered deck that overlooks the lake and a round, comfortable daybed. Perfect for afternoon naps and comes in handy to sleep on at night if you enjoy hearing the frogs and crickets and occasional boat go by. The living room has a large flat screen TV with cable and we provide Wi-Fi. The lower level bedroom has a large king size bed with overstuffed feather bed mattress. A flat screen TV is in bedroom with DVD player and movies are provided. The lower level off of the master bedroom suite has a walk-out to a covered patio with wicker chairs, swing, and propane fire pit for your enjoyment. Everything in the cottage is open to you, our guest. There is a locked shed on property that is for our lawn equipment. We enjoy sharing our home with our guests and love meeting new people. I feel relaxed and pampered in this home and want to share the joy it brings into my life with you. It's the perfect place to make memorable moments. When needed, we are just a phone call away, and respect your privacy. But, if you make a bonfire and want to share some s'mores, we would probably accept the invitation to join you. It is an ideal location since you have the lake so close and a peaceful neighborhood. You are a short drive to Conley Bottom in one direction and Burnside Marina the opposite direction. Cumberland Falls is about 25 miles away and a great location for hiking, horseback riding, and enjoying the beautiful falls. There is a local restaurant, VIPS, about 5 minutes from the house, good breakfast. Close to shopping and restaurants in Somerset. There are at least three coffee pots provided in addition to a French press, and coffee grinder. I provide a variety of coffee flavors for the Keurig in addition to cream. Hot chocolate, tea, oatmeal, and granola bars also provided.
