The house embraces a spectacular pool and backyard patio from which you may fully relax in the fantastic Santa Barbara weather. Eight are listed able to stay, to accommodate for children included with up to 6 adults. Six adults are maximum at the property. Other combinations up to 8 are possible, eg 4 adults and 4 children, or 6 adults and 2 children. There is an additional security fence to close off the pool area if you are traveling with young children. It attaches to the deck to close off access to the pool area without adult supervision. Book with confidence as we are registered to provide short term stays with the county. Stays include 14% bed tax on stays of under 31 days. Peacefully sleep in the quiet setting. Those who are early risers will not disturb those who want to sleep in as the bedroom wing is at the opposite end of the house from the kitchen living and dining areas. Two gorgeous fireplaces, one in the master suite. The second is a striking cathedral ceiling high edifice in travertine accenting the unique atmosphere of this incredible home. All the comforts of home with full kitchen, dishwasher, washer/dryer and the space to stretch out and enjoy yourself after enjoying all Santa Barbara offers. The beach and Montecito are just an easy 10 minute drive. Total Price for stays of less than 31 days include 14% Santa Barbara County Bed Tax and Santa Barbara tourism fee. Guest access Guests have privacy for their stay with the whole house and private fenced yard to themselves. There is a completly separate house on the other side of the acre, for the owner that has its own parking and fenced yard. They are less close than most neighbors but available if you have any needs. Other things to note There is parking for 4 cars at the property. We have the limitation that no large gatherings are allowed at any time. The property is for the use of those who are staying at the house. A pet is allowed with an advance request to the host and arrangement of an additional $224 pet fee. The pool has a very efficient solar heating system that keeps the pool at a very comfortable temperature from May to November. The jacuzzi is heated on demand. To heat the pool with gas in the winter entails an additional $100 a day charge, contact owner in advance. The weather in Santa Barbara is excellent and for the very rare days of very hot weather, portable air conditioning is provided in the kitchen, and 3 of the bedrooms. Fans are usually sufficient for cooling as nights are very cool in Santa Barbara. The home has Cox Panoramic Gigablast internet the highest internet speed available locally. This works great for working from home and for having a number of devices on the system.
