The space Newly renovated in August 2019, step into a double height open living area with exposed stone walls and chandelier. Decorated with a water theme, 1854Chassors - Charente gîte is furnished in hues of blues, turquoise, soft neutrals and metallics and has wooden parquet flooring. Light and airy, there is a brand new kitchen area with integrated bar and stools and looks out onto your private garden as well as the front courtyard with additional seating. High speed WIfi and SONOS are provided and the 40” TV has French, British and international channels. Books, DVDs and board games are also available. In addition to the usual appliances, the kitchen includes extras such as a blender, raclette/pancake/hot stone set and auto steam cooker. All bedlinen, towels and even pool towels are provided as well as adult dressing gowns. Both large bedrooms have king size beds which can be split into singles on request. The sofa with integrated chaise longue can also be used as a sofa bed. The 2 bathrooms have double sinks and vanity unit, walk in showers and heated radiators. We are Barbara and Kevin Allery and live in the main house. We fell in love with this large, stunning property and made the move from Australia in early 2018. We are on hand to help make your stay unforgettable with warm bread delivered at your desired time each morning as well as a welcome basket with local produce and your choice of wine and being fluent in French can arrange any reservations and excursions on your behalf. Guest access The property is yours to enjoy. The property is large with front and back gardens completely walled leading to an orchard and 2 fields. You have use of the whole property. We live in the main house but do not use any of the shared areas and grounds. We have a private terrace. Each gite has its own private external seating and dining area. There is free parking in the front walled courtyard so completely secure.
