Escape to our stunning 3-bed, 3-bath cabin in the mountains and enjoy breathtaking long-range mountain views! Perfect for families and friends, our cabin features newly renovated bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. The space A relaxing retreat with amazing long-range, all-season mountain views! We are fans of board games, reading, and family time - so you will find lots of fun stuff to do in our cabin. We strive to keep everything organized and in its place so it's easy to find for our next guest! The space includes a fully-equipped kitchen with full compliments of dishes and silverware, cups and glasses, cookware (including pots, pans, and utensils), and several large and small appliances. The appliances include majors (refrigerator, microwave, stove, dishwasher) and small household (including Keurig coffee maker, toaster, blender, coffee pot, crock pot, griddle, and mini waffle-maker). Additionally, there is a large propane grill overlooking our all-season mountain views! Enjoy your meals on the main-level screen-in porch with family style table seating six. After dinner, head for a relaxing dip in the hot tub or sit fireside on the lower deck(s)! With room for up to 6 people, the hot tub offers a scenic mountain view. This level also has additional table seating and a porch swing available! The lower deck is uncovered with a coffee table and seating for star-gazers. It features an outdoor, gas fireplace (available all year long). Located just below this lower deck, there is a wood burning firepit area with enough seating for up to 6 people. For game time, the lower level offers a pool table, a wet bar including seating, plus a pub table for games or a beverage! The 55” LED HDTV comes equipped with DirecTV as well as a blu-ray player for your favorite movies! When it’s time to cozy up for bed, you’ll find each bedroom offers a TV and DVD player. as well as a full bathroom either connected (upstairs master) or nearby. The downstairs bedroom has two twin beds, while the main floor and upstairs bedroom(s) have king beds. All three bedrooms have walk-outs to the decks, with the master bedroom leading out to the upper balcony with additional star-gazing and mountain vistas. Guest access Our guests have access to the entire space including nearly 2 acres of wooded mountain land! The indoor fireplaces are new and work with timer switches. They are restricted April thru Mid-October. We also have a couple off-limits owners closets, but there are plenty of available storage spaces that you can feel free to use! Additional guest amenities include: a pack-n-play, high chair, dog bed & bowls, closet and dresser storage (in every bedroom), a linen closet in the master bathroom, and an additional small shelf unit next to the dryer in the laundry room. Other things to note With cleanliness at the top of everyone's mind, our cabin has always been managed with close attention to cleaning details after every stay! All sets of sheets and towels are removed and cleaned off-site and replaced with fresh sets. Hard surfaces are cleaned in all rooms and kitchen + bathrooms are disinfected thoroughly! HVAC filters and maintenance strictly adhered to throughout the cabin. We have a main level air purifier as well. The hot tub is drained and cleaned after every stay. If you ever have questions regarding cleaning products, please message us! A note about wifi/phone service: Blue Ridge is notorious for having intermittent internet service. We cannot guarantee wifi/phone service at all times during the stay. Unfortunately, it's just a part of life in Blue Ridge - the great outdoors :) Enjoy nature, enjoy the games in the cabin, and enjoy each others' company! If the wifi doesn't work, please try unplugging the wifi device on the main floor for 60 seconds and plug it back in. Winter Weather: snow and ice can happen in the winter months in Blue Ridge. Due to the nature of our cabin being 2,000-3,000 feet, our paved access road hills can get slippery. In normal weather, you do NOT need 4-wheel drive in ANY PART of accessing our cabin, but it may be necessary in icy/snowy conditions. First and foremost, we are concerned for all of our guests safety, so in the event of a winter storm we suggest contacting us to reschedule or cancel at no cost to you. Of course we will be able to help monitor weather and advise if the roads will be accessible or not. Please don’t hesitate to reach out! The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful for the vast majority of the time. However, there is a racetrack in the valley below the cabin about 2 miles away that runs races on Saturday nights from April thru November. Unfortunately, you can hear the racing in our cabin for the 3-4 hours it’s running. We have spoken with the owner of the track and he has indicated that the “official” stop time is 11:30pm, but acknowledged that sometimes it may run until midnight or later if there are additional entrants, wrecks, etc. We have provided white noise machines and earplugs in the cabin to be used as needed. As an activity, the raceway is a fun night out but we recognize that it may be an inconvenience for some.
