Kitchen and large deck with barbecue; eat dinner and watch the sunset from up in the trees! $390 base price for 2 guests; $40 per night each additional guest, plus cleaning fee and 13.5% county tax. NOTE: this house has a spiral staircase which is not ideal for older guests or toddlers. The space Hummingbird Raven is in the park, but outside the bustle of Yosemite Valley so it is quiet and peaceful. This house is ideal for groups of family and friends who want a nice house to come back to after a long day of adventure. This main living area of the house - kitchen, dining area, living room, and master bedroom is downstairs and reached by a spiral staircase. Note: the spiral staircase may not be suitable for elderly people and small children. Upstairs is one bedroom with a queen-size bed, one bedroom with two bunk beds, and a study with a fold-out sofa bed that sleeps two. We have a beautiful large deck with a barbecue and great view of the forest. We have a DVD player and large DVD library in the living room. Hummingbird Raven House can sleep a maximum of 8 - 10 people. Keep in mind when booking that we have 1 1/2 bathrooms, which means one shower. Yosemite West is inside the Park boundaries, so it's a perfect location to enjoy Yosemite (20 minutes to Yosemite Valley and Glacier Point, and close to various trailheads). It has the advantage of being very close to the Badger Pass ski area, and being at a higher elevation than the Valley, which keeps the temperatures more comfortable in the summer months. Please note that we do not have wifi or satellite TV, because trees around the house block satellite reception from the South sky. We do have a TV with a large DVD library. There is no cell phone reception in Yosemite West (there is spotty cell reception in Yosemite Valley). If our cabin and Yosemite are accessible, we do not cancel, modify, or refund reservations based on smoke, which is a very common occurrence in Yosemite each summer. This policy is consistent with all vacation rentals in Yosemite West. Air conditioning is individually controlled through a mini-split system controlled by remotes in each room. Our location is 6,000 feet of elevation, so usually remains cooler than Yosemite Valley. We no longer accept dogs or other pets. Absolutely no exceptions. Minimum age of renter signing contract: 25. Guest access Full kitchen, deck with barbecue, extensive DVD library. Other things to note INTERNET AND CELL SERVICE: we have Starlink wifi but no satellite TV (though we do have a DVD library), because trees around the house block satellite reception from the South sky. Wifi speed may sometimes be affected by trees around the house. There is spotty cell service in Yosemite West. We have a phone for local calls. If you will need to make long distance calls, please purchase a phone card from the store in Yosemite Village or on your way into the park.
