The neighborhood is very upscale and an easy walk to the old city. The house is on a quiet side street and we were able to park in the driveway just a few feet from the front door. Upon entering the foyer there are hooks for coats and umbrellas, a tray for shoes, and a bookshelf filled with information about what is available to do in the area. There is also a small table, a recycling bin, and a goid sized landing before heading up the stairs. The stairs were easy - a short flight, wide, and wide steps as well. At the top you find yourself in the living room. Once in the house, the space is huge, clean, lovely, spacious, and equipped with everything. Windows exist throughout everyroom, can be opened, and provide a good cross breeze. The living room has a good sized TV, two couches, an arm chair, a large fan, and coffee table. There is a dining room that is huge and connects to a balcony. Next is the kitchen, which also has a eat in area, coffee maker, hotpot, microwave, toaster oven, and everything you might need to cook with. The laundry area is also here and is great. The kitchen and dinning room both have doors, which are very effective at limiting noise from room to room. To the other side at the top of the stairs is a cubby with a desk, chair, and lamp. Next is a bathroom with 2 sinks, lots of cabinet space, a great sized tub and shower, plus towels, wash cloths, little hotel soaps, shampoos, etc - it is excellent. Then there is a spacious bedroom with a very comfortable bed. Lots of space throughout, great lighting - much of it with dimmer switches, closets... just everything. The end result is that I would stay here again in a heartbeat. It was just the perfect place. No troubles and everything to make it a home away from home. I hope we get a chance to return." We found it to be very spacious, clean, and comfortable. Stéphane's place is in a very quiet neighborhood in a super location. We never needed to use our car during our stay as there are many coffee shops, boulangeries, and restaurants within a 15 minute walking distance and a supermarket is only a block away. One thing that we really liked is that the beautiful nature trails of the Plains of Abraham are only a 10 minute walk away.
