The cabin is a short drive to both Mad River and Sugarbush Ski areas The space The cabin is a quintessential log home with added ambiance of Persian carpets, a library stocked with novels and coffee table books, and a comfy place to curl up in front of a fire to read and relax. There is a trail on the property that leads up into the Green Mountain National Forest and the Breadloaf wilderness and past a waterfall. Swimming holes are along the route. Great for walking the dog, or a snowshoe in the winter. Guest access The hosts live on the property. It is perfectly fine to walk up past their house to the extended logging road that follows Stetson Brook and leads up into the national forest. Other things to note Please note there are rather steep steps going up to both sleeping lofts. The steps are very sturdy, but if someone has knee problems or difficulty with climbing steps than we would advise you do not book the cabin.
