Ask us about possible access to Diamante, the only private golf club in the Village. Love the racetrack? We're 30 minutes from Arkansas' premiere OAKLAWN RACE TRACK. Horses run from January through April. Hikers, bring your hiking shoes--there are about a dozen maintained hiking trails laced throughout the Village! Bikers, bring your bikes--the Village has bike-friendly lanes that will take you through serene and peaceful backroads. But mostly, we just offer a quiet and soothing getaway for you and your group. Bring in your groceries and cook in our well-appointed kitchen or grill out on the deck--we have a new gas grill set up and ready to go for your convenience. There are three bedrooms (two kings and one queen) each with its own en-suite full bath--PERFECT for THREE couples--four couples if you want to spread out into the den! The large, private deck looks out over the forest and is a glorious setting for morning coffee and greet-the-evening cocktails--or just sitting and relaxing. Stargaze, bird watch, unwind in the six person spa. Breathe in the clean air. Ahhhhh. (To help keep our spa crystal clear, please bring an extra swimsuit just for the spa. Our claim to fame are our nine golf courses, tennis courts, and pickleball courts all within 15 minutes of our property. HSV is a wooded community with biking lanes, hiking trails, clean lakes--and, most importantly, CLEAN AIR! We frequently are asked about ACTIVITIES (other than golf) that are available, nearby with easy access. There are many! Here are a few: BOATING & FISHING- Balboa Marina and Waypoint at DeSoto Marina are both within 10 minutes of our property. You can find them on-line with phone numbers and other information by searching Hot Springs Village Marinas. Our personal favorite is the party barge rental. We also have brochures available for you in our Welcome Folder. WALKING TRAILS- Hot Springs Village is a virtual spiderweb of walking trails. You can find a list of them online by searching Hot Springs Village Walking Trails. We have a map of these trails for you in our Welcome Folder. One of these trails is "just down the road" from our property. All of the others are within a 5 to 10 minute drive with lots of parking space. HOT SPRINGS NATIONAL PARK - Hot Springs National Park is 18 miles from our property. It's a 30 minute drive. Easy Peasy. And it's worth a day trip in. Lots of fun with beautiful bath houses and restaurants. Book a spa treatment! DIGGING FOR CRYSTALS - Ron Coleman Crystal Mine is a unique, memorable experience. This is a short 10 miles from the property. You can find it online and on youtube by searching Ron Coleman Crystal Mine. TENNIS- Hot Springs Village has a beautiful tennis facilitiy. Search it online. It's 10 minutes from our property. BIKING - Biking is a popular activity in the Village. It has friendly bike paths throughout. It's not uncommon to see biking clubs from all over the nation enjoying our peaceful and scenic trails. GO ONLINE TO HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE AND SEE WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT! Since this is a gated community, your name will be registered at both the East and West Gates where you will stop upon entering "the Village" and get your pass. Easy and Simple! ONLY EAST AND WEST GATES ARE ACCESSIBLE TO GUESTS. THE EAST GATE CLOSES AT 10:30 PM. IF YOU ARE GOING TO BE LATER THAN 10:30 ARRIVING, YOU MUST COME THROUGH THE WEST GATE. IMPORTANT: GPS coordinates to these two gates are listed in the House Manual that you will receive after booking. IF YOU SET YOUR GPS TO OUR CAMP ADDRESS, YOU WILL END UP AT A GATE THAT REQUIRES A MAGNETIC OWNERS CARD TO OPEN. PLEASE USE THE LISTED COORDINATES. THANKS IN ADVANCE! DURING THE MONTHS OF JULY AND AUGUST, THE FIREPLACE IN THE DEN WILL BE TURNED OFF. Also if we are under a burn ban due to unusually dry weather, the FIRE PIT will not be allowed as a precautionary safety measure. Thank you!!
