Natures Paradise on the Beautiful Flambeau River

WE do Monthly rentals on our off season for $3000 per month which includes heat , electricity , cable @ internet . This Beautiful, delightful north-woods cottage sits within 30 level feet of the shoreline of the beautiful Flambeau River. You can sit and relax on the shore and enjoy nature at its best or Fish, Kayak, Canoe, tube or swim all right from your doorstep. The cottage is completely remodeled and has beautiful woodwork and decor throughout . 2 canoes and 4 kayaks included The space We have been renting out this beautiful piece of paradise for the last 20 years and we take great pride in keeping it extremely clean, organized and updated. We have a large open kitchen dining and living area for all to gather together for meals and socializing. There are 3 full size bedrooms upstairs, two of them have queen beds in them and one has 2 log twin beds . Then there is a separate private living area on the first floor with 2 full size futons that are very comfortable with innerspring mattresses. We offer 4 kayaks, 2 canoes and inner tubes for our renters use. The Flambeau River is on average 2 to 5 feet deep (depending on the rain amounts) . The Flambeau connects to the Chippewa River one-mile downstream than the Chippewa flows into 4000-acre Lake Holcombe. The Flambeau River is a scenic Lazy River and It is not recommended to use motorboats in the area of the cottage because of the depth fluxuations and possible hidden rocks just below the surface of the water that can damage your motor. But there are several boat landings in the area for the Chippewa River and lake Holcombe to land your motorboats. Not to mention all the other lakes and rivers in the area. The surrounding areas offer 250 lakes and flowages and several Rivers. There are many beaches in the area along with Resorts with entertainment , Bar/grills /restaurants and shopping within a short distance. There are thousands of acres of public hunting land and miles and miles of ATV/UTV and snowmobiling trails. Most county roads also allow you to drive your ATV and UTVs on them. For your winter fun we are within 25 minutes to the Famous Christie Mountain Ski Resort We have state of the art WFI service, and it works wonderfully for phones and Internet . We have Cable TV with 48 channels and a brand new 48-inch Smart TV and a 48-inch standard TV. The cottage is fully furnished, and we supply all the bedding, bath and kitchen towels, cleaning supplies, toilet paper, paper towels and napkins. We have upscale pots pans, dishes and everything you need for cooking . Only thing you need to bring is your personal care products food and charcoal if you are using the weber grill. We are always willing to NEGOTIATE rates as we like to keep fully BOOKED . So always feel free to contact us . Rates from October to may are greatly reduced. Contact us for your dates rates as this site might not have the correct rates. We do long term rentals from October to the end of May. Our monthly Rate is $3000 and this includes Heat, Electricity, WFI , Satellite and garbage service. We have had Traveling Nurses and Doctors that worked at the Ladysmith and Local hospitals. And Temp workers in the area and guests that worked from the cottage, as our internet WFI is awesome!! There are more reviews on other sites that we are listed on if you want to check them out . Guest access There is lots of space to park 4 cars or trucks The property is a residential home and not a campground and the neighbors are not to close , so it is private . We have area maps and info on the area for you to reference at the cottage . Other things to note We are fully licensed with Rusk county and have passed all of our state inspections for tap water safety , cleanliness , smoke alarms etc .... We do require all our renters to agree and sign Our Rental Agreement Contract We also allow pets and Have a Pet Agreement Contract and a pet fee of $100 per pet per stay
