This first-floor double unit is perfect for a multi-family getaway. With 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, 2 dining areas, and 2 living areas, there's plenty of space to spread out. Sit and rock on the front porch overlooking the park, or lay by the pool and cool off, and walk to the beach in 5 minutes! The space This first floor four bedroom two and a half-bath unit features high ceilings, hardwood floors, modern décor and two open-concept kitchens with multiple living and dining spaces. The kitchen features include imported Carrera Marble counter tops and Kitchen Aid appliances. Both living rooms have 65” smart tvs with cable and wifi so you can keep up-to-date with all your online streaming shows. Pool Seasonality: The Barracks Pool is open year-round. It is heated on the following date range: October 1 – December 15 March 1 – May 30 Grounds overlook Jaycee Park in the National Historic Fort Screven District which includes Soccer fields, basketball courts, shuffleboard, a playground and more. Tybee's bike path is great for touring the island and runs along the east side of the park. Enjoy a short four to six minute walk to North Beach to enjoy the sand and surf or a bite to eat at the North Beach Grill. We do not provide beach gear. We do provide beach towels in the unit, one per person. We recommend Tim's Bikes and Beach Gear for beach umbrellas and chairs. Free off-street parking for four vehicles makes staying on Tybee even easier for you and your guests. Guest access This rental is two entire units with a joining door on the first floor with access to the property's common areas, game room and outdoor heated pool. Other things to note The Fort Screven District is a Tybee Island local favorite. Located within walking distance from the shore, Fort Screven is rich in breathtaking sights and tons of history including the lighthouse, Tybee Island Museum and Officer's Row. Your view at The Barracks will include historically protected oak trees and Jaycee Park. Jaycee Park is equipped with a basketball court, bike trails, picnic areas and a playground for the kids. This area is also home to a number of great casual dining spots like North Beach Bar and Grill and Huc-a-poos that bring local flavor, cold drinks and relaxation to your vacation.
