In addition, there is a large bucket of ice melt and a shovel by the front door for guests to use. Caretaker will come during stay to treat the pathways at renters’ request. Even with shoveling and ice melt, walkways freeze over VERY QUICKLY during Vermont winters. Renters must ALWAYS be extremely careful and when walking outdoors. *** November is hunting season in the state of Vermont. Hunting on the castle grounds is NOT permitted.
