Take some time to relax in this luxury retreat studio. Attached to our home but completely independent (joined by a shared wall), you can come and go down your own pathway and entrance. This King deluxe master studio is 3 mins walk to the river and trails. Soak in the spa bath, 'eat in' using your private kitchenette, enjoy the freshly roasted special blend of coffee provided by your host, or sit on the patio in the tranquil back garden. The space Superb location near the river where you can go for leisurely strolls or a bike ride (we have two complimentary bikes you can use on request) along the river trail. The neighborhood is tranquil. Be independent with your own external access, private luxury bathroom and kitchen. Your kitchenette has a sink, breakfast bar, plenty of counter space and everything you need to bunker in for months and prepare your meals; a decent sized fridge you can stock up, microwave, coffee pot, small portable oven, induction cooking element with pots, utensils and crockery and glassware. We provide freshly roasted and ground organic coffee for you, Karina's own blend. Yes, Karina is a coffee snob and used to own her own cafe in New Zealand so thinks this is the best coffee in Redding!... Come and see what you think ;) This is a great place to stay for conference attendees/visitors to Redding and gives you the opportunity to stay in and cook some basic meals yourself rather than having to eat out all the time. It is a 4.8 mile drive to Bethel. There is a high end comfortable Cal King bed in the room that has all the bells and whistles. Use the remote to raise the head position (great for watching TV), put in zero gravity mode to unwind or select one of three vibration modes! The kitchenette is fully stocked with pretty much everything you could want, a hot plate, seasoning dishes and more. And the host hospitality is very warm and engaging.” Guest access You have your own private entry and space, equipped mini kitchen, outdoor patio, own private bathroom accessed through your bedroom only, small table and chairs, wifi internet with netflix, Amazon prime, Disney +, self controlled air conditioning, off street parking outside (to the right of the garage). Laundry facilities are shared with the host and we can unlock the door upon request (accessed through your kitchenette). Other things to note This studio is attached to our personal home and there is a shared wall between the studio and our dining room/kitchen. The laundry room is also on the other side of the studio kitchen door. We walk through the laundry to access the garage. We have sound proofing between the two living spaces and be rest assured we cannot hear conversations or noise from the guests in the studio. From time to time you may hear our family noises and while most guests have not reported this as an issue, if you are sensitive to this, then you might be better finding different accommodation. You have your own little porch area with an outdoor love seat. This is not 100% private as the access pathway from our backyard to the road runs past the porch/studio area. The back lawn is shared with our family so if your doggy is running around, our doggy or kids might join in with the play! Pet Policy - We are open to you bringing your dog for a small pet fee. Please let us know the breed of dog, and how you will take care of pet while you stay with us (own bedding, clean up after it etc). We also have a cute little dog - "Jimmy" who loves meeting new guests and getting tummy rubs. He's also a great walking guide if you'd like to take him with you down the river trail. Just ask us for his leash :) We do not have any cats in the house, or allow them in the studio. We have two young children who also love to say hi to the guests and if you have a dog they can't resist asking if they can pat your 4 -legged friend.
