Hurrican Helene did not damage the area. HWY 421 to 77 to 21 is open. Enjoy the beautiful mountains of North Carolina where the second oldest river runs through! Canoeing, fishing, tubing, hiking & the slender of nature. Great for a single person or a couple. Or just sit on the porch overlooking the river and relax! There are great restaurants in town and the feel of small-town people. This is our happy place, and I know it will become yours too. The space The cabin is an experience to treasure for years to come. The sounds for nature, the way the trees dance in the wind. Leave the outside bedroom door open while you sleep and allow the sound of the river to heal your mind and soul. Town is only minutes away. Enjoy good food and friendly people, or just stay put at the cabin. You may not want to leave! Guest access The cabin is rented in its entirely, The space is not shared with other renters. Other things to note Make sure to bring a jacket in case it cools down at night. This is the blue ridge mountains and weather is always changing. If you fish, you will need a fishing license, otherwise you are subject to a fine.
