The cabin is nestled on top of a small hill surrounded by trees with an opening looking out to the Blue Ridge Mountains. It is the perfect place to enjoy a peaceful, Virginia countryside setting; relax by the fire, enjoy coffee on the porch, or fish/boat on the property's private pond.  You could also spend a day at nearby Moss Vineyards and Glasshouse Winery (both within a 20 minute drive) or head into downtown Charlottesville, just 12 miles away, for some dining and nightlife. This wonderfully restored log cabin was constructed with historic, white pine logs sourced from West Virginia and old heart pine- used extensively in the restoration. The cabin sleeps 4 with a queen bed upstairs and a pull out couch in the main living room.  The main level has an open floor plan providing a full kitchen, breakfast table for 4 and a living room centered around a stone fireplace. A flat-screen TV set-up with Apple TV is available to enjoy your favorite shows and movies. The upstairs bedroom offers another wood-burning fireplace and full bath. Off of the main level, on the backside of the cabin, is a porch that looks out to the Blue Ridge. Guests of the property also have access to walk the grounds and usage of the private pond nearby. We welcome you to bring your dog to this property for an additional $45 pet fee.
