Das Ski Haus- A Mountain Retreat

Come enjoy this unique ski chalet! Sleeping quarters include a master bedroom with a Cali King bed, a bedroom with a queen bed, and a loft with a full size futon and two twin beds. Open floor plan, fully equipped kitchen, fireplace, private driveway and garage, with an indoor hot tub. Only 12 minutes to Keystone and centrally located to all Summit County resort destinations. This house was built for mountain life! Only 1.5 miles from I-70, yet nestled in a private subdivision. Das Ski Haus! The space Layout: The kitchen, dining area, living room, one full bathroom, utility room, coat closet, gas fireplace and mantle are all on the main floor of the house. Extra blankets and quilts are inside the chaise portion of the sofa. There is a single car garage attached to the main floor of the house, and this is where the trash and recycling is stored safely from wildlife Inside the garage is storage with a work bench for tuning skis, etc... There are two bathrooms: one on the main floor, and one on the second floor with two sinks that are shared by all bedrooms. There are three bedrooms: two are located on the second floor, and the third bedroom is the third story loft. The third story loft is reached via a spiral staircase that is open (no privacy door). The loft has stunning views of the lake, Buffalo Mountain, and the Ten Mile Range. The loft also has three beds total: two twin beds on one side of the spiral staircase landing and one full bed on the other side with a writing desk). There is an indoor Nordic spa/hot tub on the second story at the end of a hall. Parking: In addition to the single car garage, there is 100' long driveway with ample parking for at least four more cars. The driveway and most of the 1/2-acre lot are flat. Guests with towed equipment and trailers have kept this equipment in the driveway and off the street. During the winter months, it is important not to park on the street, due to county-maintained snow removal operations. The driveway is plowed by a private service when four or more inches of snow accumulates.
