In town Boyne City home that has been completely remodeled. Three bedrooms (1 King, 2 Queens), two baths, granite kitchen with slate appliances. View of Boyne River and just a short 5 minute walk to all Boyne City has to offer. Private patio area in back with gas grill. Washer and dryer available for use. Pull out queen sofa in living room. Ask about any current pricing specials. Outdoor gas fireplace only out in the summer. The space Our home is located within walking distance of downtown Boyne City and is less than a ten minute drive to Boyne Mountain and the Avalanche Bay water park for year-round water fun. Some of our guests come for a quiet getaway and spend time at the beach and strolling around town, others look for boating fun on the lake. On Wednesdays and Saturdays during the summer there is a farmer's market in the city park located within walking distance. There is also a full service grocery store (Family Fare) which is a few minutedrive from the house which also offers a Starbucks! If you enjoy paddling a canoe or kayak, the Boyne River is an enjoyable two hour paddle. The Boyne River flows into Lake Charlevoix in Boyne City. Ten miles away near East Jordan you will find the Jordan River a noted protected “Natural River” for fishing, kayaking and canoeing. There are also winter float trips on the Jordan River. For our bicycling friends, be sure to plan a ride on the paved 26 mile “Little Traverse Wheelway” between Charlevoix and Petoskey along the Lake Michigan Shore ( Boyne Mountain also offers challenging mountain biking trails. The Boyne City-Charlevoix paved bike path extends 2 miles past Young State Park. In 2020 the paved trail will be connected with the Little Traverse Wheelway which connects Charlevoix and Petoskey. We can offer more detail on hiking, biking, boating, paddling, skiing, dining and other recreational opportunities in the area to help plan your trip. Other things to note Straight across the street our guest have access to the Boyne River. You are welcome to bring your kayaks, tubes or even canoes. If you don't have them please chat with us and we can help you with renting them.
